Tonights episode description from ITV Player

Will Karl achieve the dream he has risked everything for? Sally resolves it is over with Tim. Will Audrey accept Owen's offer?
I dont recall seeing either of these happening?

Yeah, I'm pretty confused about that - nothing else other than the Karl stuff and the Windass yawnfest happened tonight.

Perhaps they were edited out to give more airtime to the conclusion of Karl's story...?

That is odd. Must have been cut out to feature more Stella/Karl scenes.

Maybe the episode descriptions weren't revised since the episode's final cut was made.

Must have been cut. The editing very really off tonight any way so that explains it.

Is it possible that they were still filming this block of episodes when Chris Fountain was sacked? Maybe they had to reshoot a few scenes for continuity, and they moved a few around. The scenes could pop up in next week's episodes.

Theory, probably incorrect..

That would make sense... and a few have comented that the directing in that second episode seemed off... particularly the scenes on the street at the end.

That's two major storylines messed up now, right at their conclusion - Kirsty and Tyrone, now this. The timing was off, the scenes badly directed at times, and the pacing of the episodes has been all wrong. Such a shame after all that brilliant groundwork, especially with the Kirsty storyline.

I noticed that Chris Fountains name was in the credits at the end of Corrie Friday night. So I bet his scenes were edited out.
Kind of petty really.

I saw Chris Fountain in it last night so he wasn't edited out.

I think the Audrey/Owen SL is happening next week.

I didn't see Chris Fountain. Although they mentioned the photos on his phone, we never saw it. I would have thought the police would have wanted to see it. Perhaps they will later as evidence when they charge Karl. That suggests that Chris Fountain should have been in it and it was re-edited.

He pulled back Jason when Karl came out the pub.

Yes, Chris Fountain was definitely in it last night - in the Bistro with Tina for the wedding "reception" and also outside in the street. I distinctly remember thinking I was glad they hadn't edited him out. I wish they would reconsider his sacking, it seems very harsh to me.

How many times is this going to be mentioned.

Chris Fountain isn't being edited out, he is still in the programme, in quite a bit way on Monday and a small way last night.

In any case, why would Chris Fountain being edited out cause scenes with Audrey and Owen to not appear. They would be more likely to appear!
