So.... was it the argument with Vicky that won it for Charlotte?

I wonder what your opinion is of what impact the argument between Vicky and Charlotte during the aftermath of the letters from home. Was it Vicky's drunken rant about the youth of today and 'is this what we have resorted to' when describing Charlotte's behavior that may have created a wave of votes for Charlotte to win?

Was it the generation clash between the two?

Or was it the conflict and contrast between the more traditional and skilled 'soap actress' against the more contemporary 'reality star' that may have persuaded young voters to get behind Charlotte?

It would have worked well for both I think, I do think Vicky would have been gone over Louis were it not for that argument. It was a factor.

I got the impression that Charlotte was the early favorite, possibly during the first week or so. Then I think it swung to Lauren after she confronted Sophie and also supported by her clumsy antics. Meanwhile, Abs was very consistent throughout the process and it was acknowledged that he would definitely be in the final and could win it. Especially, as people were beginning to think Lauren was a 'game player.' However, I saw that argument between Vicky and Charlotte and felt that was the incident that shifted the opinion towards the latter winning.

It was having just under one and a half million twitter followers that won it for Charlotte. What she actually did in the house was irrelevant.

It was signing the contract to appear. Folks were saying from the start that the others were playing for 2nd place. Turns out they were right.

Well, it seems that the new wave of reality shows that are fly on the wall constructed and US MTV inspired (The Only Way Is Essex, Geordie Shore, Made In Chelsea) seem to have built up a huge fan base?

^^^^^^ This.

She didn't have to do all that exhaustive tit showing, bed peeing, fanny farting routine.

She coulda just laid in bed for three weeks and still won.
