Who don't you "loathe"?!

That's sort of becoming your catch phrase "Absolutely loathe 'insert any soap character'

Anyway back the original subject, I think Faye's new friend is going to bully Faye, while coming across as all sweatness and light to everyone else.

Why yet another storyline for Faye? If she has to stay, can't she just disappear upstairs for 5 years and come back down with a new head?

If thats the case, quite looking forward to that storyline actually.

She seems brighter than Faye for starters.

Like Anna and Owen, I'm just relieved Faye has a nice new friend who might teach her some manners.

No, she'll be a wrong 'un and will lead Fay even further astray. Shoplifting or running away for starters.

I am also wondering whether she will accuse Owen of something sinister - but maybe that's a bit too near the mark for Corrie.

Blimey that's all we need, someone to teach her how to be more of a spiteful little bitch. Can't understand why the character is still like that, surely stability has set in by now.

It is soap law that all kids have to be 'problem kids', (at least if they want any screen time).

Faymien has seen how much screen action kids like Amy get and is determined not to fade into obscurity the same way. You go girl!

(Anyway, all soaps need a character we can hate and Fayne Rooney fits the bill perfectly for me).

If I had kids and they brought someone over polite like her round I'd probably think "little creep".

Same here

Whilst saying nice things about a meal may be charming, the "ooh this is lovely" was OTT and I am surprised Owen was not suspicious. I half expected new friend to present Anna with an award for "best mash potato in an evening meal" at the end.

Can't stand Faye or her friend tbh

But hasn't she already had a bullying storyline? If that's true, then it's a bit bad that they have to reuse old storylines just to give a character some material. Personally, I'd rather if she didn't have much screen time.

Aren't there any 'nice, normal' kids in soaps.

There was something in a local paper about the actress playing Grace, and the article said she was going to lead Fay into trouble.

Faye's friend has successfully manipulated you. She is very good at it but I'd have thought her explaining her strategy might have given it a way a bit

I think this will lead to a strong story line for Faye which she'll easily carry out.

As soon as she walked in the house and set off being all nicey nicey to Anna and Owen I thought ...its Emmerdale all over again with Belle and Gemma
