Eastenders Storylines Ideas For DTC
Just in case he ever comes on here which I doubt, is there any storylines you would like Eastenders to tackle just to bring the show back to it glory days.
I would like them to do a storyline about someone telling compulsive lies and the impact it has on their family and friends and why they do it, it is a illness and its never been done before and I think the drama it would bring would cause ripples in the Square. It could start with little lies and gradually they get bigger and bigger and the person just can't stop and it's a major problem. |

I know DTC has Twitter so maybe someone could tweet him what storyline ideas we want to see.

I'd like to see Sharon develop a Brain tumour, tbh. It would be the perfect kind of story to redeem her after an absolutely attrocious 2012 and 2013... It could lead to the return of Vicki (doesn't really bother me if she's recast or not), and could help to re-build the Beale/Fowler family unit, as Sharon, Vicki & Dennis would become a part of Ian's family unit.
I'd also like to see Deano Wicks return with a fiancee, Leah, as the mystery new co-owner of Scarlett's (which is later re-named The Tasty Retreat) - ala Sharon/Peggy/The Vic in 2001. Deano would work really well as a successful business man, I feel, and it would make for a lot of character development for him. Leah would be quite snobby, and built in the mould of Debbie Wilkins - just a little more likeable. I'd also like to see Chelsea Fox return 4 months pregnant, harbouring a dark secret - her boyfriend has been beating her black & blue, and she's had to return to the Square, to flee him. This could cause plenty of future drama for the Foxes. Finally, I'd like to have a dark, but open-ended exit story for AJ. He could get involved with Carl and Adam White, and somehow he manages to get hold of a substantial amount of Carl's money - which, obviously, brings out Carl's dark side. Having fractured his relationship with Masood (who's now living with Zainab, Amira and Yamsin - following Tamwar's departure to Oxford), AJ decides to leave Walford... however, as he's making his way towards the train station, he comes face to face with Carl in a dark alleyway. AJ's final scene would be him looking worried as Carl approaches him... the audience would never discover what happened to AJ. |

Also a storyline involving debt, serious debt, it could start as a loan for a holiday, then a overdraft for something else and then just build up a characters spending habits of shopping, dining out and partying, it should then show the serious side when repayments gets missed due to the habit and then mayby involve them taking out cheque loans from the pawnshop, pawning items to pay bills and maybe then start on the payday loans that ade so easy available and how it affects millions a year.

I want them to introduce Kathy Beales sister Steph played by Kim Taylforth (Sister to Gillian). It's already been established that Steph and Kathy didn't get on, so I'd like to see Steph pop up into Ians life. She would tell him all these stories about his families past, but over time Ian would bgin to realise that some of it is lies. |

The current episodes of EastEnders feel very slow and I find myself feeling very restless. I am also frustrated with how scenes quickly change to the point where they feel cut! Storylines I'd like to see would include; Adult Bullying Male Anorexia Male Rape Alzheimers Abuse storyline - Abi and Jay |

On paper this sounds very interesting but it would only work if it was appointed to the right character and if the repercussions were shocking enough to keep viewers enthralled.
