Who do you think is the best soap critic or writes the best soap column?

My personal fav is Tina Baker, I used to love her Live Chats on the BBC when you could see her live in the studio for soapy gossip.

I cant stand the other woman in the Mail magazine, Jackie something.

I really like the bloke who writes for the Mirror's Saturday TV mag (Tony Stewart?), he always gives a fair opinion on the soaps and one I usually agree with.

Tina Baker is so common though - she's like a mad fishwife

My favorite (and nothing to do with fancying him at all ) is Ian Hyland of The Sunday Mirror

Tina Baker gives the impression she just asked people on the street for some spoilers before she went on air.

I like Tina Baker, but only in small doses lol. I can't stand Ian Hyland, he always looks like he's sneering or something when I've seen him on Coronation Street Secrets.

I use to like Hilary Kingsley when she wrote in the Mirror she was the Queen of soap gossip unlike Tina (gravel voice) Baker who looks more and more like a drag queen and that dreadful Richard Arnold.

No, I love Soapwatch in the Saturday Mail. Jaci Stephen makes me laugh out loud every week.....she picks up on all the annoying little habits the actors have. LAst week she observed that Dennis is addicted to packing his bag, which he is...he's in and out like the fiddler's elbow!

Tina is really good with her fans, she was when she was on the BBCi thing. She does know lots and got in trouble with the BBC for revealing something to the public, might of been who shot Phil, cant recall. But I find her amusing, she has the Corrie sense of humour.

Jaci Stephen's in The Mail's Weekend is very good, and always provides humour, and I also quite like Tina Baker, though not live. She's much better writing up on Teletext (yes it still exists)! You do get the feeling she's "in there" with the soaps and gets a lot of stuff through.
Though it would be a nice job sitting down every week, and watching next weeks soaps!

She's the sole reason I buy that paper on a Saturday, very funny and witty.

I always know the spoilers Tina Baker gives anyway from digital spy! I like Jaci Stephen best, at least she gives the same amount of attention to all the soaps, big or small, unlike Tina Baker...
