In all honesty, I don't think it's all that.
Dot had a much more stronger and believable chemistry with Dennis Rickman and Nigel Bates. It really did feel like a mother and son relationship at times.
Fatboy and Dot are just nice but they're not a strong friendship IMO.

Yeah it was mentioned but the way it was played, it felt like EE were ticking a box. None of Sharons grief or rememberance of Dennis has felt organic if that makes sense. However I say that for her rememberence of most past characters. I did like the scene where her stuff dropped on the spot Dennis was murdered though. That came from a place that felt real.
