Janine will NOT kill Michael. She just won't. And I really hope the writers don't make her because it would be very out-of-character. Janine can get away with a lot of stuff but she would never murder. I reckon it's Alice!

I think it would be a good way for her to go out. Charlie is great and Janine has been great in the past but the way they write her now is terrible, best to go out now before it gets worse.

No she didn't. He lost his footing and fell. I remember this episode well and have rewatched the clip several times through various EE revealed shows over the years. Janine did not push him.

If you go on YouTube you will see her push him. There is another video on YouTube called, 'Janine confesses Barry's murder' witch has been out up by the official BBC page. In that video Janine confesses to Ricky that she PUSHED and KiLLED Barry. Also the reason Pat let Janine go to prison for Laura's death was as a punishment for killing Barry.

Janine didn't murder Barry, but she was fully responsible for his death because she concoted a plan with Paul to fleece Barry which led to his death in Scotland. Of course Janine's capable of murder. She stabbed herself in 2010. Who not capable of murder does such an extreme thing.

That is murder! Of you hurt someone by accident and instead of getting help you leave them to die its murder. It would have Ben manslaughter if she had go help but he died anyway. Like my other post said go look it up on YouTube.

I do agree that Janine is capable of murder, even if she hasn't murdered though.

Alice is a kind natured character opposed to Janine who's a scheming bitch with a history of making lives a misery.

Oh god! The evidence is all there. I have just watched it on YouTube! If I was wrong I would say I was but I'm not. Why don't we both write to EE producers and ask them of she killed Barry. The FACT will be she did kill him. She even says to Ricky 'I PUSHED him' on another clip!

Also OP she was poisoning Ryan and that counts as trying to kill someone. Janine is capable of murder.

Janine wasn't responsible for Barry falling (if only he'd worn slip on shoes), but she was responsible for his death by just leaving him there. She walked away when she could have saved him. I don't think she is capable of murder, but she can definitely come close, she has a very irrational/malicious streak in her, similar to Ronnie in some ways.

But either way, I don't think Michael is murdered. I think Alice reveals some information to Janine which would stop him from seeing Scarlett again or something along those lines and he ends up killing himself.

In the clip that was shown on New Years Eve 2004, Barry holds Janines arms and as she tries to shrug him off, he falls backwards and of the cliff.

If EE wanted to sell that she pushed him, then they failed. I didn't see it that way and never have.

Well I guess EE want people to believe she did push him. The views seem to be divided here as some people think he fell and others know he was pushed.

So everyone's entitled to their opinion. If you believe he fell then good for you and all the others. That last bit isn't meant to be sarcastic
