She killed Danielle

Forget Barry. Whether she killed him or not is debatable. She was certainly pleased that he died and actually intended to induce a heart attack by exerting him when she believed he had a weak heart and a short time to live. Remember her other husband, Ryan? She tried to poison him to death. Janine is not a successful killer but she is capable of murder. Just another layer to a brilliant character badly misused in this stint.

It says here that Janine pushed Barry off the cliff. I can't access the clip for some reason but I always thought she pushed him and he rolled down the hill before hitting his head.

She pushed Barry, but not on purpose: he was trying to embrace her and she was disgusted so she pushed him away. It wasn't pre-meditated murder (that time) as she didn't plan for him to fall down the hill, but she did cause his death indirectly. So in my opinion, it would be manslaughter.

What I don't get is how people say she could have saved him though. They were in the middle of nowhere and it looked like he smashed his head and probably had a lot more injuries. Also, I thought it was a bit unrealistic that he rolled all that way and smashed his head on that big boulder.

It was a very accidental kill. It's not as if she took him to the top of the cliff and pushed him outright. But, he was in her face and she pushed him away, and he went off the cliff. So she is responsible, even if it was an accident. You can't say Barry just lost his footing - it's not as if he was walking along the edge and suddenly fell! She could have helped him and he probably would have survived, and that would have redeemed her accident and it would have taken away her murderer label.

And she distinctly told Pat that she didn't kill Laura, but she did kill Barry (which she shouldn't have admitted to out of the blue, ffs). So she must think she is responsible too.

Saying all this, Janine is my favourite character

Janine has already murdered - it was probably before you were born. Check your facts before starting silly threads.

She, in a very round about way killed her first husband Barry. She pushed him and he fell off the cliff. She then sat and watched him die, and very coldly told him his son would be better off without him. Technically, she didn't kill him but she made sure he died and showed no remorse for it. Never has done to this day.

I loved Janine when she was bad to the core, and I think possibly her best days are behind her. If Charlie Brooks does leave, they should write out Janine with a blazing storyline. She might not kill Michael herself, but I think backed up against the wall she would gladly let someone else do it for her. This was the man who drove her away from her daughter, and totally got inside her head and messed her about. She won't forgive him, and I'm sure the mind games won't end there.

As for Danielle, well it was an accident. The silly girl stood in front of the car.....

She murdered Barry . Case closed .

Not only that but she later attempted to pull out his oxygen tube whilst he was in hospital but she bottled out.

You think he fell, everyone else knows different because we watched it at the time. You are clearly basing this on a clip on YouTube which you misinterpreted not knowing the full story.

On topic, I agree. I don't think she'd deliberately kill in cold blood.

She IS a murderer, she killed Barry Evans. She pushed him, he fell, he was dying, she left him.

If you run someone over accidentally and then watch them die without calling for help, then that is murder, and murder is the case. Similarly she watched Barry die and didn't call for help, that is murder.

Either way she has killed someone (accidentally) Danielle.

I watched it at the time and have seen it serval times since I know she pushed him. I think if you read ALL my comments on this thread then you will know I have never once said he fell!

I've seen the clip she pushed him away from her, but she didn't intend to push him off the cliff. He lost his balance. Yeah she left him to die, but to be fair there wasn't much that could have been done to save him. He was a goner.
