I'd never seen this but sitting up after a few glasses of wine I came across it whilst channel hopping. I felt I should watch to discover this 'sweet natured' girl Charlotte at play. My god! What is this subspecies?

Did she have a heart of gold on it?

There was no evidence of it but she did have a face you'd want to slap and a mouth you'd want to put a sock in. She did, however, display her awesome talents of swearing like a navvy, wetting herself and having an inflated sense of her worth to entertainment. Having said that, the muscle marys she was with were worse.

I saw a clip of her chucking a plate at someones head...

Like the OP I thought I'd see what it was like, whilst channel hopping only managed about 10 mins, won't be going back. Each to their own.

I watched one out of curiosity. What a load of rubbish.

Another thing about this programme is the volume. We normally have the sound set around 38-40 for comfortable viewing/listening but I had to turn it down to 20 it was so loud.

It's the previously hidden and scorned under belly of society. They are now represented on TV by this hideous shower and Jeremy Vile of course.

I believe she was thrown off the show for violence which amazed me. I would have thought it would have appealed to their audience greatly.

She wasn't thrown off, she was asked to leave the GS house. Nearly all of them have been asked to leave for various lengths of time if they've been violent.

Great stereotyping, though.

Off the show out of the GS house? Accurate stereotyping as violence seems to be a regular occurrence. It just gets worse.Under belly is totally correct..

Not thrown off, because they're always allowed to return.

Stereotyping all GS viewers as the "underbelly" of society who must enjoying watching violence is as ridiculous as saying all Ron fans must be racist, all Carol fans must be middle-aged drunkards, etc.

Please tell me where I said the viewers of this travesty of a show were the under belly of society?

Its what you call the show and its participants, I can't imagine you think much better of the people who watch it.

I watched some of this the other night. It didn't seem much different to programs that I've seen in the past. It reminded me of 'The Villa'. It wasn't anywhere near as bad as I was expecting.

Not really my cup of tea. I'm too old.

I didn't say that you surmised it for some reason.

Why are so many people experts on this show who have never watched it

It does make me wonder. I've seen every episode and yet I haven't seen her pee or defecate on someone, sleep with half of Newcastle or throw a plate at someone - but there's posters who have never watched it and yet claim these things have happened.

The trailer (which actually aired as I saw this thread title, funnily) was enough for me. I'd much rather fling myself down a flight of stairs. Actually, I fear watching the show would have that effect on me.

I mean, each to their own. If others like it, good for them. But, for me, it would be an ordeal.

Its a bit like Sachsgate. 2 people complained at the time it aired, thousands of others only did when newspapers reported on it.

It's hilarious and not to be taken seriously.

But I just love how much it annoys all The Daily Mail comment contributor types.

That's even more hilarious
