Hahahahaha.

And you know what's even funnier? That I didn't even notice. I read it completely as you intended it.

Also occurred to me the other day that I haven't heard a single thing about Rough Copy since the semifinal, I thought they'd have been trying to do more too.”

Hmm. Well I'm guessing they've been signed too, but things are being put into motion quietly as with the L word. Though yes, I would have perhaps expected them to be making more of a noise with gigs etc like Union J did last year and indeed the L word has been. All I've really seen them do is a gig with Hannah (though tbd, that's probably because I follow Hannah and not them)

Perhaps they're recording? Who knows. They'd certainly need a little more time to apply the melodyne than with Nick or Sam

But yeah, Tamera's trajectory or lack thereof will certainly be interesting. Not just because of the XF grooming, but because of a sizeable chunk of people on here are aggressively certain she is the second lolling.

(Obv, autocorrect changed 'coming' to 'lolling')

It's been astonishingly quiet re RC, particularly since they'd been gigging before xfactor. I assume they've been signed, but they seem to have totally vanished from public notice on top of the inevitable lack of attention due to not being in the final. You'd think, if they'd been signed, that someone would be making sure they were doing some kind of gigs/appearances/events of some kind. Whoever's looking after L *hiss* is certainly working hard for him, he's constantly doing stuff.

Hehehehe

But you'd think, if they were recording right now, that someone would be making sure that that was known. L *hiss* has not officially been signed or recording, but there's been a ton of stuff about people working with him.

It surprises me, partly because I liked them an awful lot until the lives, and partly because I can imagine there being a market for them. But what do I know.

Your mac is a damn sight more perceptive and astute than I gave it credit for being

That might be why

Hmm, red trousers don't really go with cricket jumpers and straw boaters and punting on the Cam. I think Mr Mmpfb has some explaining to do

Oh, thank you, that's very interesting.

Do you know what sort of music they're doing at these appearances? I mean, if it's like the stuff they were doing on the xfactor or more like what they were doing before (apparently a lot more urban and 'current').

Ouch. I suppose it's difficult to manage switching from it being his own account to a more 'professional' one.

I never attended one of their shows.
Some of their performances were in the SE of London, in an area I think they are most familiar with.

Obviously one doesn't wear the red trousers with crickets jumpers. Cricket whites only mean cricket whites only. Just don't play cricket because it's boring as ****.

Haha. That makes it sound like the Bronx in the 70s or something. I live in the south of east of London. We have trees and everything!

Mhm, indeed. Except that they have breaks for drinks. I love the idea of a sport that has cocktail breaks.

I wonder if I could afford to hire Nicky for a photoshoot that would consist entirely of him growing a moustache on a penny farthing.

...to clarify, he would have the moustache. Not the penny farthing.

I had Chislehurst in mind, they performed at The Lounge:

Tbh, looking at their manager's account, there's not that much:

* homecoming event on 30 december
* a photoshoot at the end of january
* something on 5 feb
* their gig tonight
* something on 27 march

It seems like a lot of noise and not much action, but I might be missing something.

Oh, and the thing at the lounge at the end of jan that's not on their management feed.

Scanning down their timeline they mention being in a studio with producers, so presumably they've been recording also. Will be interesting to see how they do when they release something. Theoretically there's a ready-made market out there for them, but unless they come out with something storming straight off the bat I suspect they might find it a struggle. I think XF may have done them more damage (perceptionally) than good.

I wish them well, though. They've always been very nice about Nicky so they're alright in my book (though it would be a different story if they'd beaten him in the competition )
