Not be be all la-de-da about it (well maybe just a little bit )the only samples other than the main vocal are the bits of Christine Aguillera wailing, the bongos and the horn stabs. The rest is all played by me (though I wouldn't be surprised to find out I'd subconsciously appropriated the strings melody from somewhere).

The video was done in After Effects. I'm a video editor by trade and had just got hold of AE so I used making the video as a way to train myself in it. It's basically made from photos I found online which I've edited in photoshop and then put into AE to animate. There's a snippet of some cheesy 70s ITV disco prog in there that I found on youtube, and then some video of my cats from my phone.

The Nicky/Luke gig will be great for both of them and their fans. I love the way they get on so well, and the Luke fans on here seem pretty decent too

Oh no, that was a mate off of my postgrad. My housemate isn't scared of balloons, he's just rubbish.

It's good marketing for both of them, broadens both of their audiences. They should do some more together elsewhere and definitely think they should do a track together.

I agree about how cool it is that Nicky and Luke have remained really good friends. Maybe they should record a duet together and get it released. The combined forces of two sets of fans = potential big selling single = £££ *.* £££ for the record companies, and therefore a nice bit of pocket money for the lads especially if they wrote the song together (mmm royalties *drools* )

Yep. And there's definitely some crossover in fans amongst the teeny girls on twitter. I reckon their voices would work really well together, they always sounded great together with Sam later in the series on the group songs.

I suppose the writing could just be for a b-side or something, IIRC the bride of Leon's first single was co-written by him, even though he'd not ever written anything before as far as I know. But even if so, it raises hopes for a single release at least.

Ahhhh, I'm definitely feeling more positive about this album now. Maybe they actually *are* doing things properly.
