Nicky mentions the possibility of a new single before Christmas. Let's hope it's a great track and bags Nicky an X Factor performance. I really think Nicky would make a big impression on both Simon & Cheryl if he returned this year to perform.

It'd also give Nicky more a boost to help sell the single. In fact, in a weird way they might regard this as Nicky first "proper" single, with Answerphone used simply as a tester.

Well, who knows. It's encouraging that Nicky says pretty much what I posted on here about having a strong team working on the tracks for him.

Just thought I'd update you guys and girls in case anyone has been wondering where I am. I'm needing to focus on my own well-being at the moment so I'm pulling away from things that distract me in the wrong way..this might not make much sense but it seems to in my head.

Yeah, I don't understand what's taking so long with Nicky's new website. I know Eileen told me on Facebook back in April (I think it was) that the new website was going live about a fortnight later...and still nothing.

Oh well, I usually say "best things come to those who wait". I guess it won't hurt to wait a bit longer.

I saw bits of it, but it was Nickyless, so you didn't miss anything. I saw a tweet somewhere to say Nick is in the last episode on 12th September - so you've plenty of time to move house over the border

I don't know how ITV works really - I can watch BBC Wales for instance, but not the ITV equivalent. Might be something to do with advertisers paying for local coverage instead of national coverage or something?

There are some STV clips of various things on YouTube so you might get lucky .....

Still interested in Nicky's next single and what it's going to sound like. Right now, I really don't know what to expect.

Let's hope Nicky gets the opportunity to perform his new single on X Factor this year as I'm guessing it'll be released in Q4 (ie; between October & December) which would tie in with the X Factor live shows.

I still love the idea of Nicky having a UK #1 single for his 18th birthday.
