Oh, that was the performance that blew me away. My housemate and I saw the first audition and thought it was ok, but just another cute boy who could sing. Then he did A Thousand Years and we were like, 'Oh, he's actually really good'. Then when he did 'I Won't Give Up' I was kinda rooting for him but wasn't sure how it would go - though he started a little shaky and then BAM, he was ****ing amazing.
It still astounds me that someone so young can carry so much emotion just through their voice. It's just ****ing awesome, it really is.
