I hope he does. The worrying thing about that story about him arriving at an empty airport is that it could have well been set up by Syco PR to help promote the idea there isn't any buzz around him - i.e. to justify not signing him. I really wouldn't put anything past them.
Also, there was a story somewhere that his mum was going to be his manager, which is worrying if true :S

Well yes, but everybody's mum is usually in the audience. It's more worrying in that she's unlikely to have any experience and won't be objective in making good decisions.

for the past few days every story that comes out after x factor is basically about Nicholas in sum form or another even sam bailey interview for papers was basically about Nicholas too that she voted for him that louie was wrong to support etc why is the runner up getting more attention than everyone else unless they know something or that he is getting the most interest

Well there hasn't been that many about any of them to be fair, even Nicky. I would guess regarding Nicholas it's because his online 'buzz' (as demonstrated on that social media thread on the MF) was for the most part consistently higher than any of the other contestants. Media sites will see that and want to create click-bait to generate traffic to their sites. Hopefully the record companies will be aware of the buzz figures as well and be looking to sign him.

1.6 million was the figure for the final on social media and no one else was close to that I think sam was 220 thousand but I think Nicholas figures are generally a good sign for future if he managed property and given good stuff something on the lines of that superman song or etc something original similar to those songs he could be more marketable than most on the main page think and he wont turn out to be like leon I don't think leon had that amount of attention . if the media saw those figures I say the record companies must have seen that too. I heard simon wanted shane filan to duet with Nicholas to bring shane filan profile up which I don't know how true that was it something I saw today in a magazine like when he sang the adele song in week 6 the internet went mad 7.1 million or more on social media then all of sudden x factor producers were giving him all the worst songs possible their could be another reason for that too that we think I think louie turned his back on him because he knew he never had a chance been his manager he might with luke louie is very like that

Yeah I think Nicky would do well given the social media stats. I don't get why people on here go on about how he wouldn't be commercial - a legion of girl fans proclaiming their love for him = commercial. How he would be marketed would be the tricky thing to get right though, I imagine. His voice is very mature sounding yet he looks younger than he actually is - so do you go for teenybopper type stuff? Or do you go for stuff that shows off that incredible voice? Maybe a mix of the two would work. What heartened me, despite people going on about how he was a 'boring ballad singer' was how good he always sounded on the uptempo group songs - he always stood out on those.
I don't know why Louis turned his back on him. It was so obvious it was really depressing to see. And yes, after Someone Like You they were clearly doing whatever they could to stop him winning - why I don't know. On the Sofabet site someone summed it up as 'So the entire series was about stopping a 16/17 yr old boy from winning'. That seemed to me to hit the nail on the head.

I dont why after he sang Someone Like You they suddenly decided to throw him under the bus, maybe it was because they knew he had the biggest chance of upsetting the whole series by winning. Why wouldnt they want a 16/17 year old to win though. I know a lot of people think that it wouldnt have made a difference to the end result but I truly believe if he was given better songs he might have won it and you need to look at the voting to know they were pretty much neck and neck.

someone has put up a video of his performance on you tube of superman and it sounds better live than I thought on the tv he has a better range than people thinks he has on the main forum he sounds increbible live ye should check it out if ye can find it the person is basically very close to the stage
