Anyways, I'm really happy to see Nicky involved with Sport Relief. There's a strong chance we'll see Nicky perform on the night of the televised event...and any exposure and publicity is surely a good thing.

This is another thing about Nicky that makes him so special. He's done charity work prior to being on X Factor, he really has a heart of pure gold and he's a treasure to Great Britain and a real inspirational kid.

Yeah. The proceeds from his merchandise in the early weeks of the lives (I'm presuming it got shut down like Sam's at some point) all went towards a children's hospital, possibly the same one he's visiting today. I guess having that near death experience at such a young age has given him a real empathy beyond most 17 year olds.
