I didn't buy it but was because I don't like the song, I think nicky's would have sold more was a much better song imo

I think it was a better song and I'd have bought it just because it was Nicky, but it's still not the sort of thing I'd really want him to sing though. Winner's songs are so often not very good. I wish they'd put more effort into choosing them.

Yep I think the right manager is key - someone who understands his appeal beyond the teenage girl demographic (i.e. not Louis!), and appreciates what makes his voice special.

He doesn't just have to be a ballad singer either, his voice always stood out in the uptempo group numbers and he looked great in that intro video to the final group song - like a pop star, dare I say it!

I just think that voice transcends everything. People who compare him to Eoghan or Leon only see a cute little kid, they don't hear what's coming out of his mouth. Sam may have been the better singer technically but I think Nicky is instinctively more musical in the use of his voice. It really is an ability beyond his years and my God, when he's at full pelt it really does give me goosebumps. I just hope if he does get a deal they don't over-process his vocals like they do with so many acts because it will lose that inherent quality.

Very well said. As I mentioned earlier, when Superman played in the pub, everyone (both sexes, wide range of ages) just sat back and listened. His voice does have a beautiful quality of tone. If he can create something so awesome at his age, imagine what maturity and training will achieve for him.

Was that in Scotland though? I do wonder whether English people are slightly 'anti-Scottish' about him. Also, does anyone know whether the studio version of Superman is going to be releases on iTunes? Or the version from the final? He tweeted that you'd be able to buy it off iTunes and Simon hinted that they might release both his and Luke's but I've seen nothing. None of the other performances from the final seem to be on there either.
