Have all the people who said Gina's back story is fake, been vindicated yet?

What about this? None of this has been 'proven' it was just what people on the forum were saying... and repeating it doesn't make it true.

If you, pastylimerick, actually hold some the proof that they are lies, then, as I say, I will admit that I was fooled. I am happy to do so.

I just wish someone would admit that she is telling the truth.

But.. clearly nobody will.

No it wasn't, don't cause trouble. The allegation was that her accent came and went, sometimes posh and sometimes not. It does n't make any difference if she was black, white or green, that is always going to make people suspicious. Personally I don't give a damn what accent someone has as long as I can understand them, but that is what was said.

From her parents perhaps? Supplemented by her own earnings? We have no idea what her living arrangements are - whether she shares a house, a flat or a room. So we don't know how much money she 'needs'. But even if her parents give her the whole £25,000, that is a big drop from the £240,000 a year she originally claimed they were giving her.

Well I think we will have to declare a stalemate. Since Gina came out of the house, no evidence to support either side has been apparent. So everyone is exactly where they were. And as she fades from the public view, it is quite possible that no evidence ever will be forthcoming. All she has to do is refrain from putting personal information online.

They're all facts, phrased as questions.

If any of them aren't facts, let's have the evidence that shows it. For example, find "pictures of her in the public domain either in her expensive hotel suite, where she allegedly stayed for months, or in her lavish house near Kings Cross."

Find some proof that she was telling the truth. Why should anyone "admit" it otherwise?

Gina said herself she had a £1,000,000 house in the Kings Cross area with an indoor pool. That is impossible! Fairy tale I'm afraid. I have no idea if she was telling the truth about most of the claims she made. Some were too childishly outlandish to believe coupled with everything that was in the media, contradicting her.

Good post and I agree. There is no proof of her wealth.Just people who believe her story.

I thought she said that her Kings Cross property was being refurbished. Maybe the pool was part of that. Anyway, I really didn't take much notice of all this, so I'm probably talking out of my arse (but in a very nice accent)

I don't understand why people insist that in order to be rich, you must be born into it. The majority of the issues people have with her seem to support, rather than disprove, the idea that her family was not born into money, but actually made money by working at it (novel idea, I know). In other words, she was not raised to be a smarmy ass, but was spoiled as soon as her parents had it to give her.

She said in the house that she got an allowance from her mother - more than once as it goes.

Isn't it normal to believe what people say until it's proved that they are liars?

As long as the truth sounds plausible, yes.

Yes it would. Here's one for £679,950 and you could have your own basement pool put in with the over a quarter of a million pounds change from the million.

What did she say that was implausible?

As for the thing about her hair extensions - that's been explained better than I could explain it because I'm not a hairdresser.

But in a nutshell, there was nothing wrong with the quality of the hair extensions she had when she went in. What was wrong was that she wasn't able to care for them properly or adequately when she was in there. In RL she would have had them done probably several times (at least twice) over that period of time.

And because of the kind of extensions she had done (the 'step' ones which are sewn onto her own hair which is corn-rowed close to her head) as her hair grew, they would have moved further and further away from her scalp.

I also spoke about Courtney's hair extensions which might well have cost the $3,000 that she said she paid although I don't remember her being called a liar though. There are many dodgy hairdressers out there who haven't got a clue what they are doing and some are over-priced crooks. Courtney may have gone to one who was both.

Well now we're getting somewhere. To even exist in London she'd need at least £2K a month from her parents. We'll have to go with her owning a property as an outright lie because to buy even a modest 1 bed flat in a less salubrious part of London you'd need to be on at least £80K a year.

You seem to be applying the guilty until proven innocent school of thought. One thing that still perplexes me though is why none of Gina's fellow HMs have exposed this big fat lie? Surely they've asked her questions? Surely she had to answer them now out of the house? Surely they'd be quite upset about being lied to so much for so long?

Dan would have course asked questions, as would Sam. Maybe they'd be prepared to keep her little secret but what about Sallie, Hazel, the twins, Jemma?

Innocent until proved guilty, in this country anyway.

Very pleasant house. Barnet though - a nice area, but a lot further out of London.

I must be hopelessly naive then because I believed that her parents had a few quid and spoilt her rotten.

I haven't seen or heard anything since that makes her a liar either.

Well they probably do. She doesn't seem to have had much in the way of a steady job. Someone must have paid for her dancing lessons etc. I just don't believe the rest of it.

Fair enough.

I'm sure if she's lying there will be plenty of information out there to prove that she was and loads of people will come forward with stories about her humble lifestyle.
