I think she will be gone by this time next year, she may as well go out on a high and if she is involved in Michael's death then as a character Alice won't get any better than that, I reckon the same for Joey as well.

They could easily fade Joey out and noone would notice he wasn't in it anymore. I wish Carl had made him vanish along with Shirley!
