it was the right way for her to go,she thought she could take on carl sitting in the chair all smug, carl wanted rid of her so thats what he did, theres no reason for him to keep her alive.she was to messed up to ever get a happy ending and she didnt realise carl is nuts and was too much for her, she is gone for good imo .

I don't think she is dead. She has probably been imprisoned somewhere like Denise was at the B&B. I think Phil is going to rescue her.

They did this with Denise and Lucas Three years ago and Denise was alive I think it's the same thing with Shirley shes still alive

the thing is, denise didnt get a leaving story, book a plane to go to another country for a new life, we saw what lucas did to her, people were worried about her far more than they were about shirl.

I don't believe she's dead either. She's been in EE long enough to get a good exit, so imo if she was killed we would have seen the struggle and the body. It just would have been a while before it all came out, just like Heather's death.

I think Shirley is going to be a very broken woman and she's going to be traumatised for a long time. Great storyline for Shirley

It would make sense if Shirley is dead because if she is kidnapped, Carl knows if he releases her then she'll go to the old bill, even more likely after being kidnapped as she'll be able to report him for attempted murder and kidnapping.

eastenders would have gave a statement if she had left/or been axed so i think she is still in the soap linda henry is a good actress too good for eastenders.
