They have realised that she can't be a deputy head and be in EE so they have relegated to being in charge of a nursery

Michael was excellent tonight - really enjoyed his scenes with Jack, who has finally woken up just as he's about to leave.

I am really hoping that the Sam/Dexter kidney storyline isn't a repeat of Holby's (when Jac Naylor grew to trust the mother who'd abandoned her, gave the kidney and then was left heartbroken when her mum did a runner, as it was all she'd wanted).

Para 2 - first thing I thought when I read it! (Shouldn't that paragraph be in a spoiler though?)

're: Roxy and Sean, if she isn't divorced then how could she marry Alfie? When they go to book the wedding they will be asked for both decree absolutes to prove they are both legally divorced.

I agree, I thought it was a funny, spot on view on Max.

Billly is right - that is a dreadfully irresponsible and incompetent child minder to just leave a baby with whoever answered the door, especially as Lexi doesn't even live there anymore and hasn't for a couple of months now. Though, have they not told the child minder that Sharon no longer lives there and can't just be handed Lexi? Every crèche, child minder, nursery I know has to receive a phone call from the mother (or usual carer) to authorise somebody else to collect their child each and every time it happens and even then they ask for ID unless it somebody they have met several times before like a grandparent.

Oh Kat, I know that a lot of it comes from love and concern but Jean is an adult and needs to make these decisions herself. Plus, it is so obviously rooted in the way she feels that she has been let down for not being 'perfect' and a fear of being alone. I loved that Roxy was trying to stick up for Ollie (and Jean) and finally bit back about the 'Essex' crack which is clearly meant as an insult even though there is nothing wrong with Essex - spoken as a proud Chelmsfordian! ”

You'd be surprised! I went to pick up my friends daughter from creche when she got held up at work and when I got there I wasn't asked for her password or for any identification just because they'd seen me with my friend before Needless to say she isn't at that creche anymore...
