So do I. Ignore him, he's still lusting after Margaret Rutherford in A Passport To Pimlico
It was a joke: I think Alan is a good little actor, whereas Jenny And you know as well as I do that P to P and all those Ealing comedies are better than anything GB cinema can turn out today

You've summed up all my ex boyfriends.
It's your own fault love for having a "type"

Mind you look at me, living with a bespectacled Chewbacca AGAIN

All British cinema these days is gangsters and zombies all I want is a good car chase, an alien and a love story with cake

Has to be said that I felt for her this episode. She's feeling dreadful and although I can understand Beth's anger IMO she was a bit out of order tonight. Quite often the loved ones have no idea what their partner is up to.

Shut your miserable fat gob Eileen
Couldn't put it better myself.

Listen to Sophie, Sally!
For once she's talking sense but she's being far too bossy and heavy handed about it.

I drank far too much, and stayed out till the last train. My hangover yesterday was epic. I'm getting too old for such things.
LOL, I feel your pain Gulf. I remember the days when I didn't get hangovers, could kick myself that I didn't appreciate it at the time!

Trust Royston to drive too slowly in a 20 zone!
Imagine being stuck behind him, he'd drive you mad, lol!

FGS, Roy! It's only the factoreh! She's hardly zipped off to Australia.
I agree! She doesn't know how long she's got left and should be enjoying herself (within reason) while she still can not be a prisoner in her flat

Haha, 'I'm a sad lonely spinster living with my sad lonely son'

'Cheers, Mum'
ROFL!

Who in their right mind would have Jason?
I dunno, he's kind, pretty, good body. Never going to be Brain of Britain but he has other attributes to make up for it, lol!

Lots of Jack mentions
Pigeons! Memories of Jack!
I love it when they talk about the past/past characters

Tim is the one who looks older in that relationship!
That's exactly what I thought. Sally is far too good for him!

Sophie, for the love of God....

SHUT THE HELL UP!!!
I concur!

Sally is a bit of a sucker where Dim Tim is concerned
Too much info!!!!

Oh .... you meant she's an idiot. Right

Doctor Dev the counsellor..........
I really liked Dev tonight. I actually think he's been quite good lately and I've felt for him too. Fancy having to tell your kids that their mum was murdered

Stella's had that many men in her back room, she may need to put a red light in her window
LOL!!!

No,,,you are Horrible Gloria
At least she had the decency to apologise though. It seemed quite heartfelt too to me.

Roy and Haley sleep in Emily's bedroom !!!!
How old fashioned was that bedroom? Like something my granny would have had and she'd be 112 if she was still alive

Aww, poor Roy and Hayley though. The thought of them being parted is heartbreaking

He's all wrong for Sally. As a chap, he's all right though. He seems to be one of those people that you really like having round for a few hours but after a while you'd find him irritating. The sort of guy who doesn't remember anything important but can reel off the FA Cup Final results in chronological order from 1972 onwards.
Nice summing up. Very perceptive.

Assistant Detective Jason is back at his normal job
Crime can't crack itself

So I never actually got round to catching up to last weeks second friday episode, where has Karl gone exactly?
He's in the chokey

What is Dev going to do now
Open a few more shops

Has Eva actually got any sewing experience? She doesn't look like the sewing type....
Carla gave her a crash course

Lovely Sinead she is so reassuring and kind!
Far too normal for Corrie

Tis Phil

Still not a mention of Tony.

Did she die in vain?
No. She died in the Rovers

Whitechapel has gone rubbish,,,,not even Detective Dev would sort that out
It is rather daft

Jason is so lovely
Eva thinks so as well

Too much Fiz tonight :
I disagree. Fiona is very under rated.

Sawphie is the Kat Slater of the street, hates anyone else being happy.
But Sophie is spot on about that Tim

Not Jason and Stella back together again.......please.
Jason has his eyes on a younger version

Judith.

Can't stand Daphne and her fake 'I don't know this but I'll conveniently guess the right answer' routine
I like Judith. She doesn't give a stuff if she loses.

Dev really is a disgrace
You can't call The Legend a disgrace

Would Dev have a case against the hospital, for negligence
Good point. That's 4 more shops then.

Casual sex then Sal.
Not what Sally had in mind at all

He's all wrong for Sally. As a chap, he's all right though. He seems to be one of those people that you really like having round for a few hours but after a while you'd find him irritating. 72 Leed, 73 Sunderland. 74 LIverpool

Has to be said that I felt for her this episode. She's feeling dreadful and although I can understand Beth's anger IMO she was a bit out of order tonight. Quite often the loved ones have no idea what their partner is up to.
Beth was fine once Stella bought her a double
Imagine being stuck behind him, he'd drive you mad, lol!
Roy should be given lessons in a field somewhere
I really liked Dev tonight. I actually think he's been quite good lately and I've felt for him too. Fancy having to tell your kids that their mum was murdered
The Legend that is Dev is another one who is very under rated.
How old fashioned was that bedroom? Like something my granny would have had and she'd be 112 if she was still alive
Why did they have a big pillow between them ?

I think Alan Hassal is a good actor...
I think he was good with Kirsty, but not with Fiz. He seems a bit awkward with Fiz.

So it’s on with Round Twenty Nine!

Below you will find a list of current Corrie characters.

Simply cast your eye down the list then work out which THREE characters you dislike the most / feel the most ambivalent about.

Once you’ve worked out who they are simply post your choices on here or send them to me via PM.

The two characters with the most votes will be evicted whilst the remainder will go through to Round Thirty which will be posted next Monday. In the event of a tie votes accumulated in the previous rounds will be taken into account.

Voting closes at Midnight on Sunday 22 September

01) Deirdre Barlow
02) Carla Connor
03) Hayley Cropper
04) Roy Cropper
05) Sylvia Goodwin

06) Steve McDonald
07) Gail McIntyre

Evening again, RK and thanks for the thread and Challenge.

Well done again, kwynne! You're on fire this month.

I might join St.Ella on the hard liquor.
Hope your not planning on drinking as much as her.

I think Tyrone and Fiz can be annoying when they're on their own but they're actually worse together.
