X Factor contestants don't have anything to do with Michelle. Not sure what point you're trying to make, the two things are different as are people.
That article stated exactly what I said, she doesn't think she'll ever get away from being recognised primarily as "Zoe from Eastenders".
No reflection on her time in it, she's spoken nicely about it being her break but still constantly having it shouted at you years later must get very tiresome.
I'd be exactly the same.
She doesn't have to constantly spew on about how great it is, or how grateful she is once she's been asked if she's returning for the millionth time.
It must also affect her chances of getting work in this country when casting agents only see her as Zoe Slater. Many actors have said in the past that their career has struggles due to typecasting. Which is precisely why they go abroad looking for work.
