I found myself Googling "Finish Powerball Smartie" before he'd revealed it was a lie
I was about to tweet in disbelief after he showed that the Smartie was the Powerball, but luckily he revealed before I hit the tweet button! But looking online at the time, it seems lots of people had actually opened the tablet before they realised! Very funny!

Very good, the best show of the series so far IMO.

Loved all the greeting card stuff
I felt the same - which surprised me as I was not sure about it on the first episode. The third one (last night) wasn't as funny for me but still entertaining. Second one's still the best one.

Last night was the fifth episode, there are six in total.

Oh right! I've only seen the last three episodes then, my favourite being the fourth one.

I burst out laughing at the washing powerball bit where he filmed himself opening up a ball and said "It's a f**king Smartie"

Loved the bit of the poem "Hence the expression, 'cow-beef'".
BIB: Me too lol For a bit I actually believed Finish using Smarties was true
I think that part went on a bit too long, but it was funny

I confess that I believed him too.
Obviously in hindsight you see it as the ludicrous proposition that it is, but it just goes to show you how easily we can accept things as true when we're watching a point being stated as fact on a TV programme.
I must be more gullible than I thought.

I agree. This series has been a revelation, and from someone who I previously thought was pretty unfunny. I doubt whether he was short of work before but he certainly won't be now.

PS - fell for the Smartie Powerball hook, line and sinker too

I like him because there is as bit of the no nonsense about him, he is not trying to be a celebrity comedian like some, he is just being normal, and seeing things that most just take for granted.

I like his "Found Poem" he does at the end, and even he can't keep a straight face at some of the things he is saying!

I've been revising the last two weeks and found myself reciting my notes in the same style!

Not gonna lie, I had a small sense of disappointment when he revealed the Smartie thing wasn't true.

I think that he had a moral and legal responsibility to do so, otherwise people would have tried them, and gotten I'll doping so, then hey presto he would have got a few law suits on his hands!

I wondered why he bought that many tubes of smarties.

I buy ibprofen from the prarmacy and they are little red pills that resemble the powerball

Damnit, Only discovered it 20 minutes from the end of what turns out to be episode 5.

Hopefully the first four and a half episode will be available on Sky catchup or repeated soon. The Mrs Gorman is racist joke and the whole powerball thing had me in stitches.

Liked the 'If you can find comfort in Jesus' gag tonight
And I admit I'm curious now about how someone in a full face veil would eat an ice cream

Another excellent programme. I'm not sure this will be back as is must take a lot of effort to make one show let alone a series.

Shame. It was something different.

Apparently they're not repeating this until nearer Christmas!

Brilliant series!
I absolutely loved this. On twitter, Dave (Gorman not the channel!) said that he would like to do another series, but it'll only happen if Dave (the channel, not Gorman) asks him to!

I laughed so hard I cried at last night's episode. All 6 made me properly laugh out loud, and proper belly laughs. Not many programmes do that!

Only managed to catch 2 of those, including the one with the Finish Powerball. This is actually a really good idea of a show. Long may it continue.
