Only comedian whose stand up show never fails to disappoint me. Great series, but then he rarely has a duff one in him. I'd say criminally underrated but all of the comedians that the great British public swarm upon are generally one trick ponies. Stand up Messrs Kay, McIntrye, Bishop.......

Great show to end a great series. Really glad that the "not Jewish" routine from his last tour made this series as it's a great bit of writing.

Nope they've had several original first run series in the past couple of years. It's not much but it's a start.

Two new 8-part series have been commissioned. I guess we'll see Series 2 in the autumn after it's been written and recorded!

So did I, I looked on two TV guides and neither of them had the repeat sign. Oh well.

That 'found poem' he recites is so obviously made up by Gorman & co. And it's basically the same thing every time, not worth repeating every episode.

Ofcouse it's made up Do you think it was adlibbed?
It must be amazingly difficult to come up with it. The problem I do have is him corpsing about 3/4 though every time.

Might be wrong but some "multi" channels assume a repeat unless specifically stated that it is a new episode.

Clearly I don't think it's ad-libbed, since he reads it from a giant screen. Neither do I think it's found.

You haven't spent much time on these forums then. That language is exactly what you'd get from irate flame wars on the internet. Choose a fairly controversial topic (or even a normal topic) and just search around for silly comments. Put them all together (admittedly this is obviously done by Gorman) and there you go: one found poem, not made up.

Yes, he used to do the found poetry on his radio show a few years ago, and I always wondered if he used DS as his source for it, because most of the things he read out were exactly the type of thing you'd see on here

I watched part of a repeat a couple of weeks ago, and I wondered why he didn't send any £50 notes? That entire segment was rendered pointless.

£50 is the minimum that would tempt most people to steal. Perhaps four notes were sent and they didn't all return? Had the experiment failed, not only would it have sunk Gorman's boat, Royal Mail would've been in touch.

Most of the comments are taken from newspaper comment sites. Anyone who's read any of those will know that the available material is endless - there's absolutely no need to make anything up!

When he used to do it on the radio show, he often used to say where the comments came from. LOL.

He didnt make the found poems up, they're comments from newspaper sites apparently
Respect to the musicians who must have to concentrate so hard with the audience laughing

I've spent plenty of time on them, long enough to distinguish between the real thing and those that read like they were written by the same few people (all bearing Gorman's trademark humour), which are too deliberately dumb to convince. The reason the poems sound (somewhat) like what you'd find online is because they're mimicking them.
