Just watching Dave's show on Dave... the retail world meets the internet... interesting to see the amazon piece he covered, with the guy who reviewed a bird table disinfectant, a cordless drill and a wireless mouse...on Christmas Day... and his review of the novel 'Tied to the desk and shared'!... "Wish I had never bothered,, poor writing poor story in fact every thing about it is poor. Would not recommend this book to anyone." And that it is actually all genuine and on amazon now!

I admit I laughed out loud seeing the Powerball bit when he opens the pack and exclaims "It's a f*cking smartie!"

Although part of me thought it can't be true another part was telling me to get off my ar$e and take one to pieces

I always think of this site when he does the found poem.

Saw 2 episodes being recorded for series 2 last night, Dave has really outdone himself, I loved the first series but the 2nd episode last night was better than the first series by miles!

Any idea when it's due to be broadcast?

Just a heads up for anyone who watched this, the 2nd series starts on Dave from this Tuesday (9th September) at 10pm. Looking forward to it

An advert came on about razors and it was so bad that I was going to post about it but it turned out to be a trailer for the new series

There is that pizza / burger one too which I can really imagine some chain will invent.

Me and some other journalists were treated to an intimate live performance on Thursday, the whole room was in absolute tears of laughter

Well some chain has a stuffed crust with burger in it already, so who knows?
Really looking forward to this, but at the same time, I'm going to see him on tour in November (I think) so dont want to spoil my enjoyment of the show beforehand.

The promotion for this has been good, particularly for a small-ish channel like Dave. I saw the razor spoof ad that degsyhufc mentioned on YouTube and there was a full-length background ad on the Radio Times website.

The program itself is not bad too.
