I like Dave Gorman's shows. It took a while to get into them but I really like the show Genius.

You don't shred porn, you throw it away in hedges.

Original, inventive and, above all, very funny. Very good first episode. Keep it up Dave (not that you'll be reading this).

Live continuity announcements from Dave on Dave between the breaks as well! First time I`ve seen any channel make an effort to get me to pay attention to the breaks with something that`s of genuine interest. Nice bit of added content.

Also, the opening titles of every episodes are different in some way when he gets to the logo
![]() (Anyone that has been will know this, but every time the theme tune is played into the studio, Dave dances )

A natural entertainer who really seems to love what he does and that pays off. A great way to spend an hour before my bedtime.

I noticed that Apple had 10:09 on their new iPhones and watch on launch, made me chuckle

Nice to see something on Dave that isn't either QI, Top Gear or imported American trash like Storage Hunters or Lizard Lick Towing

We can put that nonsense quote down to you being tired from banging out messages at 4am trying to hit the 100k post count (now that is boring)

Can't magazines be put in the paper recycling bin that you get at local tips and supermarkets?

Would you want to put "that type" of magazine in the recycling bin - especially if it had CCTV so they could clock your car number

Excellent first episode. I would have loved to have been one of the people who found Dave's cameras (alas he left them in London and not in Brighton where he found the porno one!)
Now after all these years I realise why hedge porn exists! |

Yeah it was good but not as good as last week.
I'm glad he covered the topic of "fun facts" though because that's one thing (among many!) which annoys me about the internet. There are whole websites seemingly dedicated to compiling endless lists of pointless trivia like "15 Amazing Facts About Anvils" and then these "fun fact" lists get endlessly reposted on Facebook etc. clogging up my social media with drivel. I'm getting a bit tired of Dave's found poem section as well ("which I would like.........to perform.....for you .now") |

Agreed. I love Dave Gorman but The Found Poem is mind numbingly boring. Ruins the flow of the show for me. Was interesting once, but not every single week.

It's still the same format though. He uses the same voice accents at certain parts and then corpses at around 3/4 through. |
