It's not going to be the same without jean

Loved Jean and Gillian portrayed her brilliantly, as somebody who suffers from mental health issues I am glad she got her happy ending but mental health is still seen as a stigma and we have to get over that.

I liked her overall, a bit annoying sometimes, she will be missed though I'm glad she got Julia's theme.

I am gutted about Jean leaving, she is such a fantastic character!

She is going to leave a huge hole in the square.

EE have lost some amazing actors and actresses this year

It lasted 20 years before her. The show will be OK without her.

Yes Jean was one of my favourite characters.
I saw Gillian once when she walked into my local M & S.
I saw her and thought that I had seen her somewhere before and then it dawned on me who it was!

i wont miss her, she played the part well but she has been a spare wheel for a long time

I'm going to miss her scenes with Kat, Shirley and Ian, she brought the best out in them.
