Jean's one just gone by for sure. As someone said in the episode thread, for once they actually did some research and gave some insight into how rough and 'dark' she was in 2004/05. I remember the boarded-up windows, Doreen and all that.
It's been the only exit of the year that's felt mildly character-driven and has made vague sense.
Jean deserved a happy ending. After all she's been through, all we've seen her suffer, I had a huge smile on my face when she drove out of the Square, finally happy. I've always loved Jean, because she reminds me a lot of my nan, who also suffers from bi-polar.
Jeans exit was the only fitting one. Tanya and Zainabs exit stories were crap bordering on non-existent for two major characters. At least
one should have died imo.
Other: None - while Jean's was ok, it should have been more than a two day story with very little development put into the relationship she's giving up her life for, and the rest were all sh*te.
