So far this Year 3 Long running and Popular characters have left EastEnders but which exit would you say has been the best?

Jean's one just gone by for sure. As someone said in the episode thread, for once they actually did some research and gave some insight into how rough and 'dark' she was in 2004/05. I remember the boarded-up windows, Doreen and all that.

It's been the only exit of the year that's felt mildly character-driven and has made vague sense.

Has to be Ray. Legend of a character.

Jean's, it was a lovely exit, nothing OTT, or dramatic, just nice and simple.

Although I might choose jeans exit as that was the person I most wanted to leave. Pity she wasn't murdered

Jean deserved a happy ending. After all she's been through, all we've seen her suffer, I had a huge smile on my face when she drove out of the Square, finally happy. I've always loved Jean, because she reminds me a lot of my nan, who also suffers from bi-polar.

Jeans exit was the only fitting one. Tanya and Zainabs exit stories were crap bordering on non-existent for two major characters. At least
one should have died imo.

If this was hollyoaks she would have...and the exit before that...and that...and that.....and that and 50 before that

It has to be Jeans that was a very fitting ending for her. I didn't like Zainabs ending. Liked Tanya's but felt that deserved a Julie's Theme.

His was terrible they could have given him a much better send off.

Tanya I think was kinda fitting. She tried to do the right thing for a change.

Jean's exit was right for her. A nice happy ending that was well written and acted.

Zainab's exit was a let down. Would Zee really leave Tamwar behind and leave Mas after 30 years of love?
