I'm assuming it's got beyond the negotiating stage and they've either set the dept collectors on her or are threatening to.

I got the feeling that it would be too much of a bothersome detail.

Presumably she's expecting the debt collectors, or she wouldn't have been so nervy about that person at the door earlier.

I got that impression too that she didn't even bother to call them to set up a repayment plan.

Why did they stage the error alarm thingy going off in the Helicopter when the pawn guy was on board? surely he wants to feel safe in it, not like its a liability, if they want him to agree to the deal? or was it just done for a laugh after securing the loaned money, presumably....hmmm.

I think you might be right about most of it. Only the argumentative client had her face pixellated.

The pilot was just pranking him because he knew he was terrified of flying in the helicopter.

It was a wind up, they explained it was a wind up, both in the voiceover and the owner explained it to him, when he was on the ground.

No the ruby surely?

I don't like rubies but my mind would quickly be changed if I owned it

I know it was a windup, I just wasn't sure why they'd do that.

How is she going to pay £12,000 back over 7 months plus interest?

I don't think she understood. It was a £12,000 loan or £15,000 purchase.

Yes she just heard the amount and that was it. Silly woman. No wonder she's so behind with her gas bill.

Who said she was going to take out a 12K loan on it?
That's what it was worth, not how much she wanted.
What does she do for a living, (I missed some of this earlier), that means she couldn't pay back the 12K plus interest, if she wanted to take it?
