Whilst itv's stepping out bears no comparison to strictly, it is good to see the struggle to learn to dance again...... Couples on strictly would never find it quite as hard to achieve as they do on this itv newcomer, since they have a pro dancer to assist their journey,however, I think the expectations of the celebrity to be brilliant from day one, has lost something in the process......sometimes strictly can be too slick for its own good in the early stages..... Wonder if it will happen again this year?

I preferred the earlier series of Strictly when you could see the change over the weeks from rubbish to ok to reasonably competent.
Now too many of them seem to be excellent (for amateurs) in Week one, and part of the charm and excitment has been lost

I agree the struggle for slick perfection can become quite a boring quest.
