- Wednesday 15th October (1 x 60)
- Friday 17th October (2 x 30)
Eight episodes

Emmerdale

- Tuesday 14th October (1 x 30)
- Wednesday 15th October (1 x 60)
- Thursday 16th October (2 x 30)
- Friday 17th October (1 x 30)
Seven episodes

Highly unusual to see so many episodes. In Corrie's case, of course Sunday's episodes are as a result of football the previous Friday. Should be a big week for ITV that.

Of course, it is possible that both soaps lose an episode during I'm a Celebrity and they are therefore making it up here.”

Emmerdale is having extra eps because it the 1st Anniversary of the 40th Anniversary live ep and they are having BIG storylines that week.

Not sure what Corrie is upto.

When ITV broke the bank to pay over the odds for Champions League football, did they ever expect that their coverage of a leading British team in Europe would be trounced two to one by a cake baking contest on BBC2?!

The stuff of nightmares!

Do they have an exit clause?

Exactly. We flicked between Arsenal and Chelsea during the evening. Have no interest in a Scottish club.

If there were no English clubs left in the CL, then they would be something British to fall back on, as Scotland and ROI have been in past World Cups.

Champions League picks up in the later stages when British interest is there. But also, in answer to your question. I don't think they did no!

Shame The Wrong Mans lost a third of its audience. It didn't deserve that.

EF really appears to have been boosted by BBC1 taking The One Show off air in the summer and gifting the soap new viewers. Some have stayed. Monumental screw up by BBC1.

Lost nearly a third of its debut audience. I enjoyed part one, but can see why others didn't stick with it.

Last ep anyway and new series starts filming in November, so BBC1 part it back in its right place on Monday Night next year since DM will be taking its annual year off.

I have no interest in bake off, but by no means an impressive figure.

EE did decent by it's current standards for what was a very average episode. Great performance for ED.

Bake-off reality TV at its best with sadness, joy and humour. The competition for the tentmates is about to go up a notch and game plans will come to the fore. The producers seem to be favouring Frances giving the tentmates challenges which demonstrate her creative skills.

Is it true English Heritage plan to open the tent to the public as a site that's changed the face of television reality shows?

They take TOS off every summer and replace it with some sort of highlights programme although how anyone could get even one 30 minute highlights programme out of TOS is beyond me
