Well we know that he has been working with Jojo so it is a big possibility.

It looks like LaFace is going to be reactivated as an imprint of Epic Records. L.A is obviously going to be transferred to be CEO of that label. There will be a new Epic CEO soon IMO, especially now that Jojo is VP at Epic.

All these things can only be good news for Alex tbh. I just hope that they work hard to launch her as a new artist. Hopefully she gets a big launch.

Regardless of how the next era goes, I'm really proud of Alex just for her zeal and perseverance alone (before considering her immense talent). She is just so determined and I admire that a lot.

They still ain't decided first single

If it's taking this long then either every single track is amazing (unlikely) or they have very little strong material to choose from, meaning it's taking longer. I was always a bit worried when it came to single choice because I don't think either of them sound strong enough to be a lead single for any album let alone her US launch album. But then again, they were short LQ snippets so hard to get a feel for the song.

I don't think it's a case of every songs amazing but perhaps after revising all tracks at the album listening they are conflicted again because of a few great songs other than the one we heard also features may be getting sorted out it's all hard to tell atm but I'm glad they're not rushing this now. It goes to show they want everything perfect and also they may even want the video prefilmed

Just funny that she said last year a single was picked and video was being filmed in the coming weeks yet, now nothing has been decided, she's still recording and we're coming up to February. I don't mind as if other opportunities to record have come up then good but judging by the indecisiveness with No More You.. the tracks aren't going to be really that great, in terms of a lead single kind of song. I hope they've had opportunities to work with better producers, so she's holding out to decide on lead single until all recording is done.
