She's doing what she wants. Don't believe any hype. Nothing happens until its happened. It'll be hard for her over there, because radio is king.

I think it's a bit overdramatic to say that she won't make it in America because she didn't attend the Grammys this year. She isn't nominated, and tbh, I doubt anyone is missing her at the event.

Even if she did attend, while it would be good for networking, she wouldn't have got that much coverage when all the big stars are attending, and besides a few pictures on blogs etc. I doubt it would have a massive impact. There's plenty of other opportunities for her this year, the various MTV awards, promo gigs, TV/radio shows etc. etc. When she's finally ready I'm sure she'll be getting herself out there. I think it's just timing.

I think it's more disappointment to be honest. I'm just eager to see her at big US events.

She'll get there. We're going to have to face a lot of waiting especially once the single is out there on the charts. Things work slowly in the U.S. so I think managing expectations is important.

A lot of breakout stars don't attend the Grammys before they debut. I think Alex can build up to it by attending the BETs, Soul Train Awards, MTV awards etc. and hopefully by then she will have had a hit single to her name to warrant a presence at the Grammys.

Right now she needs to work on the music and building her fanbase. While an appearance at the Grammys would be amazing, the reaction would probably be "who is that?" and then they would keep it moving. I just hope that when Alex gets back to the U.S, she is ready to work.

Some of you guys dont understand what I mean. All I was saying is that when a star is leading up to their debut they usually use all their time preparing and putting things into place. Going to leisure centres on music biggest night-annually. Family time is nothing I could fault Alex for but come on. Tbh most fans have become complacent with the fact that we wont get any news for a while.

Just thought I'd post a reminder that Celebrity Who Wants To Be A Millionaire is on Tuesday, I don't think anyone mentioned this recently.

Is she not allowed down time? So what its the biggest night? It's celebration night over there and US wise she has nothing to celebrate and has no music out. We don't know what's happening, and she's clearly been given the time to go home for a while. We don't see everything, it is HER life you know.

I got the X Factor Adria on my schedule on Tuesday (in honor of Alex ). I wonder if there's a chance she could be a guest in a live show?

Well she's confirmed that it was for her nephew so that's why she was in Wales. I don't have a problem with it while she isn't in the middle of an era, because once it starts, I doubt she will have much time to see her family so I think some people should cut her some slack. Family is important, nobody wants her to have a breakdown, she needs time for herself as well.

When the era starts I'm sure she'll be focused heavily on her career, I just hope that it's not too long a wait.

Looks like they are starting to play the music to the U.S. media now and begin the hype process. Someone called Deja Riley tweeted that she'd heard Alex's new music and loved it and she works for Pynk Magazine which is quite popular and quite a few celebrities like Estelle, Tamar, Brandy etc. have covered. It's popular with a sector Alex will be targeting.

So it's interesting that this Deja person has heard her music. It shows that Alex's team is doing the groundwork. EDIT: Her father produced this song.
