Why does Alex keep us waiting like she has hundreds and thousands of fans waiting on an announcement? FFS, she needs to announce something soon.

An imprint label under Epic could be interesting. But I'm concerned about how much of a budget she would get under a startup label.

At least she could make use of Epic's connections and experience.

REALLY? I dont think its a particularly good shot for either of them tbh.

If Alex is launching in America first and if the album is early next year then surely a single would come soon..? Like towards the end of this year. She's gonna need to give herself time for the lead single to actually make an impact.. She can't launch an album in the US off a flop single and it will be quite a while before her first single actually starts to take off (if it ever does). I was expecting like at least two singles before an album possibly even more than two depending on how successful they are.. If she struggles to get a decent performing single then the album will have to be pushed back etc etc. Also bare in mind she's going to need to do lots of gigs to build a fan base before she even thinks of releasing an album. I'm surprised she's actually revealed its early 2014 cause looking at the way things are id have said An album would be no sooner than September 2014 tbh

I'm not sure she mentioned a specific time period in 2014, just that it would be coming next year. Realistically, a single should be premiering very early next year if the album is going ahead next year.

I agree with Patrick that it will take a long time for any single to take off if at all. Some singles take at least 4/5 months and that's with an ideal promo schedule. So if she started with the single in February, that would take her up to July/August time for it to take off. Most successful albums in the US are paired with at least one big song. Alex needs to make that happen or any album would flop.
