It premiered on the 5th October during X Factor apparently, but I had no idea. I randomly caught the advert on TV just now and I knew it was Alex's voice. I was shocked. Here's a snippet of the ad on YouTube.

If this is true it looks like Alex is presenting an award at the MOBO Awards tomorrow. I'd prefer her to be performing obviously but it's something I suppose...She's gotta be on point with her styling though!!

I don't get why she has been back in the UK for so long. She's been here since the end of August.
We were told she was only going to be back here briefly, but she has been here for months now, and there's no sign of her returning back to the US any time soon. I wouldn't be surprised if she didn't go back until next year at this rate.
She's needs to get back to America asap and finish the album and work on those contacts. I'm not convinced that she has signed a new record deal yet either. There are rumours and things happening but they are been hidden from the fans.

Well to be fair she is doing everything she can with what she has atm. She did an EP, is recording an album and is doing a lot of little things here and there to keep her profile up. I agree having no news after years of supporting her is frustrating, but I trust her.

Yeah, trends just fail and there's not much support for her on there. These things are critical to success as Twitter trends etc promote artists.
I think the longer she leaves it, the harder it's going to be. It's well over a year since HOH now, and there hasn't been much progress. I know she didn't want the long gap between Overcome and HOH, and there is that unreleased album sitting around, but she really should have tried to avoid another long gap like this again.
It's going to cost a lot of money to get her back going again and she's going to need a hit single again. Whether these things happen remains to be seen.

Maybe I'm being naive, but I really think she could easily bring it back with a hot song and an XF performance, shortly followed by as US campaign. I think the HOH hate campaign has faded now and the public simply feel indifferent to her right now. A hot single could really be a new start for her and a starting point for her US campaign.
