I thought that she was done with this hair. I really don't like it.. I like her curls, or even this "new-old" short one... But not this!

I listened to Seduce You on YouTube on my hols 6 weeks ago, I noticed all the versions been removed now there was around 5 on YT so obviously that new artist got it removed.

Wish Seduce You was her song with the new production it slays.

But seduce you was removed officially from sound cloud since last year. It could or could not still be Alex's it's only a mixtape song it's not like he would release it

No but if the beat has been given to someone else, it's likely that the artist bought the rights to it as well, which would mean Alex could no longer release it under her name, which is why she had to remove it.

I hope she works with Vinylz again though, he's a good producer and Alex needs that modern edge.

Haven't posted here in so long. Just waiting until she finally releases music again.

No doubt that the Bodyguard would be a great show to see but it is just too expensive for me to travel all the way to London. It's great that those who have went, enjoyed themselves though! I'm extremely jealous. I'm sure those who will be going will also love it. Its really weird but great seeing plenty of nice tweets about her performance in which she rightly deserves. Hopefully once she releases new materials, she'll get the same reception.

Good to see that she's looking on point in most of her pictures too. She's been so consistent. Really liked the bob but that new hair style looks exceptional as well. Why did she not dress like this during the times when she released music? Would have prevented half the hate she gets.

Just a few more days until she's done with the bodyguard. Hopefully we won't have to wait much longer for new materials. Although, having in mind that the "lead single" was supposedly chosen around December time and she shocked us with the Bodyguard. We just won't know when we'll get music.

You are in for a fantastic evening, I went last Friday in stalls. I really enjoyed the show and what they did with the staging. Without spoiling it, you will be impressed.

I really liked her acting skills, came across so sincere and the chemistry with Frank Farmer was clear to see, blossomed throughout the show. she will shock many with her on stage / acting ability, I can see why she has so many great reviews.

As for the VOCALS, oh my!! she slayed me to within an inch of my life. To think she was unwell too (according to her twitter), you wouldn't have known it. I have to mention the sister Nikki, she was impressive too I must say but Alexandra steals the show for me.

Her IWALY, I have Nothing, Run to you (duet) & All the Man That I Need was beautifully sung, the standing ovation at the end was well deserved, I cannot praise her enough for her performance. So refreshing to see her sing so well live throughout and slay the stage like she did. I also have to mention the I'm Every Woman performance, the energy was just rocking and engaging the crowd along with the I wanna dance with somebody encore where she and the cast had the audience dancing and clapping like no tomorrow. The amount of people you can over hear praising her voice was audible, lovely to see & hear.

I'm so happy for her to have this experience, she deserves the continued praise and hope it gives her the lift & momentum to kick on after on whatever she does next, Such a talented young woman.

I agree. Her style looks fab now, really using her beauty! She's not an ugly girl at all. She's a stunner.

Can't you get megabus? I'm doing that and it's £20 there and back from Yorkshire. Or do you mean staying overnight?

Interesting that Mariah is rumoured to be joining KWL following her album not doing so well.

I wonder what plans they have for Alex once The Bodyguard ends? They were brilliant in 2013 and gave Alex a lot of opportunities, but this year has been really slow. They need to kickstart her career in the US as soon as possible, it's now or never.

Well one thing I'm happy about is she is on the new KWL website and Jojo came to see her.

I think we'll be back to where we were in March on the brink of some news, hopefully Alex has a deal or negotiations of some sort to deal with as soon as she lands in NY kn September. The album I believe will now need reworking maybe just 2-3 tracks maybe even new producers will be added.

I do find it slightly weird how Jojo is in a fantastic position at Epic yet Alexandra is still without a deal.

She's far from ugly. She just needed to change her styling which has been a problem in many occasions and I really love how that is now sorted.

I'm here in Northern Ireland so... Oh well! Hopefully they'll be other opportunities. I'll just live through with it with all of your reviews.

I've been comparing the voice waves of Soundcloud (some of you said they're live) and Youtube (studio) clips of the songs we have and they are exactly the same. The end of I Have Nothing on Soundcloud sounds identically as the beginning of the Youtube clip. Also, Queen of the Night's vocal amplitude is exactly the same on both channels (except there's an audience applause in the Soundcloud clip, which I find irrelevant cause we all know that effect can be added to anything). So my conclusion is YES there are studio versions of all the songs from the show! Can't be convinced in the opposite. So I don't see a single reason for them not to be put online in full form, as a promotional material (or maybe they're kept for an official Bodyguard soundtrack release?)

Anyway, I Wanna Dance With Somebody is the piece of art I'd like to hear in full, judging from the live and studio recordings, Alex has used pretty much her own vocal interpretations and adlibs on this track.

Do you have any idea if this HighclereCastle thing was recorded? I'd really love to hear some old songs of her now... I can tell from David's twitter that she sang ANL for sure... Will it be online?

It's one of two things, he stitched her up (I couldn't see Kevin going to the effort of signing her to just do nothing with her) or she had one and lost one. Or even what she's offering business wise is weak...which is the most likely IMHO. There's no brand, Overcome had that, since then...

Everyone with a deal has a style, she's genre hopping all the time. I can't say what style she is tbh. Kelly Rowland has that, and it's part of the reason she's not got success consistency (both girls I mean).

I still wouldn't write a label just yet!! I do think she has things planned for after BG so we will soon see.

That's not true at all. In fact, pretty much the opposite. Your talent gets you the deal and the label are supposed to then help you develop and become an artist. Also, it's not that Alex is genre hopping all over the place. She hasn't ever been in a position to call the shots and be saying what she wants. She was signed to Syco, the most controlling label. She's never been in a position to be dictating what sort of music she wants to release.

I agree. She definitely has "something". It's strange that there's been no label announcement all this, however, she's got good management and is working with big names (Kevin). A lot of these people aren't just going to work with someone and manage them if they don't even have a label...would be very risky and now ay would they do it. She could be releasing music independently, but again, she has extremely good management for someone releasing music independently. It just doesn't make sense and is all very strange. Personally, I think she is definitely signed to a label without a doubt. I don't think it's an independent label as I just don't think the management she has would work with someone like that as it would be quite risky. Suppose we'll just have to wait and see.

I don't agree that she needs a "style" to get signed either. I think that's too rigid and a lot of artists that have their own "style" still flop anyway.

The edge that Alex has and always will is that she can sing and dance live. Look at the likes of Tinashe and Sevyn. Yeah they maybe be hot right now but their voices are WEAK and that Tinashe girl doesn't have much stage presence.

Most deals are signed on a yearly basis. She most likely couldn't have signed because she would have had album commitments that would need to be fulfilled during the contract. I reckon she took The Bodyguard to fill up time because the album just wasn't ready or she couldn't complete it in time.

It's also possible that she has a development deal which would explain all the high budget producers and writers she collaborated with last year. It's possible that this could be at Epic especially with Jojo's position there. Some labels sign artists to develop them first and only fully sign them later. It would also explain her gigs in the US and why she was encouraged to take the theatre role.

This could be true, although development deals are usually offered to quite young artists say aged 19 or younger. You could be right though. I think development deals are dangerous though as they basically allow the label to keep you on their books for a long period of time and no other label can touch you...but you don't release any music until your label is ready and then they'll offer you a proper deal. So potentially, you could sign the devlopment deal, record songs, be on their books, but then eventually they might decide it's not working out and they'll end the deal and you won't have even released any music.
