Yeah I was just going to point it out. That's really interesting. I mean she is performing in the Jazz Cafe in September if I remember correctly, and she already said that she will perform her new music over there but I don't recall anything about 10 shows or anything.

Lol that's just great.. The tour is being drawn out till 2016... There will never be really any time to do any promotion for the album (IF it's coming)

We've only heard one rough demo cut and a snippet of another song, so I don't think it's fair to judge what we haven't heard.
We will never hear the US album she worked on with KWL so there's no way to tell whether it was "crap" or not because it will not be released.
She does have creativity, but she hasn't really had the right environment to express it in due to all the behind the scenes issues, so again, I think that's unfair. Even so, she co-wrote Elephant and a decent ballad in What Money Can't Buy, so she's not completely talentless in that department.

I don't think an album is coming now to be honest. She'll release this EP in between the tour, then take on more theatre roles (if she gets them) indefinitely.

Also, you're only as good as your last hit, which is only good due to a good producer (imo). She's not had any of that. The snippets sounded better than most stuff she's done, and NMY did show a lot of promise, especially with how she uses her voice on the track.
Eugghh, there's a thread in the X Factor forum about Fleur's vocal range and there's posters in there saying Alexandra only has a 2.5 octave vocal range...less than Fleur. Someone please go into that thread and tell them what's what. The Fleur brigade are seriously irritating now. She's not the second coming.

But Alex's range has widened a LOT since 2008?!
I Just popped in here to say I do not think Alex has only 2.5 octaves it's what I read on diva devotee and it lists she has 2.3 - there is a list of massive singers who I would've thought had 3/4 octaves that seem to only have 2.5 at best.
I think Personally Alex has at least got 3 - I was genuinely shocked no need to slag the
Fleur brigade off - im just saying what I've read by an obvious vocal coach or whoever clearly Alex has had extra vocal training since XF .

Alexandra has a bigger range than Fleur. She's good though, I was rooting for her. I've always said though if Fleur had a better voice she could be amazing so I hope she gets some vocal lessons then I think she'll smash. But she can't sing the songs Alex did on XF
The only thing the girls have in common is they're both contralto! Both girls have strengths and weaknesses in performance and voice - Alex wouldn't make uptown funk as great as Fleur did, Fleur wouldn't have made listen as great as Alex -

Why do people on this forum get all angry and upset when someone expresses their personal opinion about another artist?
We're allowed to constantly stick up for Alexandra and that's fine, but posters aren't allowed to criticise other contestants?
If Master Ozzy wants to express their opinion on any artist - whether that be positive or not - then they can do that on a discussion forum. Why do people label them bitter, a 'contestant basher' and so on. It isn't embarrassing. Whats embarrassing is seeing people attack another poster personally because they express their dislike for an artist.
Anyway, I was wondering if there is an acoustic version of 'The Silence' anywhere? I thought this would be the best place to ask!

This. People can't say Fleur is a better performer as back in 2008, XF didn't have the production that they have these days. The stage was way smaller so there wasn't even much room to dance. When Alex came back in 2009 with the show's new production, she showed how amazing her vocals were as well as her dancing and performing attributes when performing Bad Boys.

Alex just came 7th in the forum's all time ranking of contestants. A lot better than her 14th place finishing last year.
