She got the main vocal. Maybe the stylists dressed her to stand out more, I don't know.

Their faces at the end were funny though, and Dermot and the judges. Ruth Lorenzo and Daniel got stuck behind the door, that's also why Austin looked confused at one point.

The Bodyguard Soundtrack is out now on iTunes. But you can also listen to it here - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCmy...zuCOrjug1vKwhA,

I Love it, the Ballads are the stronger numbers on the soundtrack in my opinion but its overall great and currently number 4 on the Soundtrack Chart and 54 Overall in the UK (iTunes)

The Hall of Fame video is nice. It made me smile because I love seeing Alex happy but I wish there was more different footage in it. It would have been better this way. But I still like it, it's a nice thing to give to us fans.

TBG sountrack is really amazing. All The Man I Need is soo good! I really liked all the songs from it, tho I had to listen to it on YT because sadly I can't buy it online right now....

'published on may 21st'

it was private all this time or it managed just 1 000 views in almost 2 months?

No, it was private for months. She only put the video up this week. I saw the link on her Facebook account.

I was listening to her Jealousy cover yesterday too. I want her singing like that on her own record.

In this Leona interview she says she recorded songs and then went to different labels and played some songs and then eventually went for the one that is most passionated. I think someone said here that going to labels doesn't work anymore. It clearly still works and I think Alexandra should do this but obviously with better material than Renegade

I've just checked my email and I have two from Alex's site. One is about new single "Hall Of Fame" (I don't really understand the idea of free singles from free EP but okay :x) and the other is about the sountrack. But that's all okay.
The only thing is that once again the mail is sent from KWL. I don't know. I thought they were not together in the end... But I don't think they they would just leave KWL signature on her official mail site or something. It's weird.

Plus do we know if the soundtrack did good on itunes or something?

Just had a look on iTunes and The Bodyguard album isn't even in the top 150 as far as I could see.

Alex probably tried that already. It's not just about the material, but the artist's track record and if they can demonstrate they can sell records. Leona would probably have been in a different position if it wasn't for the Christmas album as Glassheart barely scanned Silver, so it's easy to dismiss as a blip. Alex only has two studio albums under her belt and I believe HOH wasn't even certified.

Glassheart is Gold

I wish Alex would go back to Overcome. Songs that showcase her voice. I wonder what her next album will sound like but that's probably for 2016

Wow Alex finally did something more to connect with the fans. If you haven't check your mail here is link to video from her: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ZgdiqcnjRk
It's a short message about the Bodyguard, but it's nice. I wish she did something like this more often

Hi guys, how did the Renegade EP do in the end? I know it was a free download, but was there more interest than New Rules?
ukaszenkooo
10-08-2015
I think it's hard to say.
The most popular track on NewRules (on soundcloud) is Fix You with over 20k hits. The next one is Day Dream with 18k.
But NR was published on DailyMail as I recall so that's probably why.

And then we have Renegade which is not as popular on soundcloud. The most popular is Renegade with 10k hits. But there is also music video on YT with over 70k.
Ain't That Right has almost 10k both on YT and soundcloud.

But Renegade has more likes and reposts on soundcloud than NR.

But as you said... It's a free EP it won't chart anywhere. It's really hard to say which one did much better

I'd say better for those who heard it. NR was torn apart. It's sad because this EP should have been released when NR was. She may have been signed with it at that time.

Thanks for the replies. I hadn't heard of DailyMail, but I read on the Internet that it's a pretty big newspaper in the UK. It's a shame she didn't have that type of connection for Renegade, because it is better than New Rules. I did like Try on New Rules, but not so much the other songs especially the Fix You cover.

Someone has tweeted Alex asking her if she would ever do Strictly Come Dancing and she replied saying that it's something she would love to do. I'm so dissapointed. My one hope was that no matter what she would never resort to shows like that.

Is this something like Dancing With The Stars? Sorry but I have never heard about this show before

Yeah its the British equivalent and i say go for it Alex, she needs to make a living and doing that show not only pay well, but raises your profile significantly, it did wonders for Alesha Dixon's career.

I don't see the problem in her doing it tbh infact I kind of hope she does. If she did well on it and got far it could give her music career and her overall career in genreal the kick that it needs right about now kind of like it did for Alesha Dixon at the time when she was on it. Also it would be good to see her on TV everyweek again.

Oh... I actually hate Dancing In The Stars formula because for me.. It's like... Let's take a singer and turn her into a typical celebrity. At least that's how it works in my country. So that's not cool to me.
But do they sing in this show too? If yes then this is much better. (I just saw the wikipedia and they list the songs names, so I thought it's something like dance and sing show?)

No she wouldn't be singing on it, just dancing.

But honestly, its one of the biggest shows in the UK, bigger than X Factor and isn't seen as a tacky reality show compared to the likes of CBB etc. It could do wonders for her profile and if she followed her stint on it with a brand new single etc, it might catch on if she wins fans.

Dance with the Stars is in France as well. Nearly all the winners have been singers like Alex who were successful and then declined (Alizee, M.Pokora, Shy'm etc.). They all had a boost in their careers after winning the show, so maybe it could help Alex? I think she needs to lift her profile somehow.

Well she obviusly needs some help with going back to music. I still think that Eurovison is her best shot at it. Because the UK public doesn't like her that much - but people in the Europe still do!! UK is doing so bad at eurovision, and I think Alex could change that. First of all its the europe that is voting for the songs not UK public. So she really could make it. With a good song and a killer performance.
But a show like Strictly Come Dancing would also be good. She just need to do something that will change everything :X
