I just hope it's not a nasty surprise. If they're shooting the video in a few weeks either the single will premiere before the video or after they have shot it. I'm guessing they'll do it once the video is ready, so a January premiere is looking likely tbh.

The label will get revealed sooner or later if they are this far along in the process. Hopefully it's something good.

Yeah I do think it's time to start spilling the beans though. She should send out a press release to all the media outlets and blogs (toya and tranny trent banned) to inform them of the details so they can report it and start the hype.

If she comes out with a single title and a label announcement it would kickstart the hype for the new era.

WOW! This is good news! I'm excited now, but nervous too. Mainly because we don't know anything about the label yet which means that it's hard to know whether to expect a big launch with a decent budget and decent videos, music production etc. Or, if it's a smaller label then lesser production etc. I do get the impression that this time around she is with people who will sit down with her and plan and storyboard the video properly. Really sit down and discuss what sort of video they want. Bad Boys and Broken Heels were good videos, but I always got the impression that they were given a big budget, told to make a pop video and that was it really...not much discussion. The All Night Long video was a really good idea, but it was so cheap and it absolutely stank of SYCO just trying to save money. Start Without You I'm not even going to talk about. I thought The Silence was her best video in terms of how she looked and the production of it. It was the most professional. Only issue with that one is that it didn't really have a story. So yeah, I'm hopign this time around she does a video where things discussed and so that when she is asked in an interview "So what was the idea around this video?", she can respond with an actual answer. I'm happy that she seems to be with creative people, people she gets on with. People who aren't basic (*cough* Char). I just hope now that the label she is with are decent and have a big budget because without that she won't be going anywhere.

I'm dreading XF on Saturday. Without a doubt the judges will reference Alex. Gary doesn't like her...he made digs at her in the weeks following her stint as a judge. They'll say something like "You did it even better than the original", which will be absolutely ridiculous as out of the 4 judges only one of them was actually on the Panel when Alex was on the show, plus I doubt any of the 4 have even see her perform the song live (that's if it's All Night Long). It will be ridiculous, but they will make comments.

oh well lol i doubt they will, they had the biggest opportunity with listen tbh.

and if they do.. it happens, nothing to 'dread' about.
