Unbelievable and outrageous. That's totally out of order of them to tweet that, especially when Alex has already said that the remix was completely unauthorised. Those fools are damaging her reputation by tweeting that.

Don't mind that she's back now we know the album is nearly complete

I know but still. I think she could benefit from visiting more radio stations and making some more contacts out there before the launch. It's important for her to have the contacts in place too.

But we'll see. Hopefully the first single isn't that far off.

I found it odd that Alex didn't record anymore vocals anyway, she's a perfectionist a lot of the time and i'm pretty positive she would have re-recorded extra vocals for that remix track if it was 'official'.

Alex will sue their a** if they ain't careful”

Yeah it's messy. She was annoyed about it too.

Not sure if everyone has seen this interview: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5KvWATEYF_E

She said some interesting things, and nice to see that she is friendly with Leona.

I'm so happy she's done this. Working with talent

A nice fun interview.

I so long for them to work together. I so hope they do a special duet this year on X Factor, its unlikely but I'd love it. Actually even better I'd love it if Alex was on Leona's Christmas album, that would make me so happy. That guy was a knob though.

So do I, I really think it could be the UK's answer to a Whitney/Mariah duet. If they united as a one off for the 10th anniversary of X Factor I think it could be great but I'm not sure about a single or anything. They are quite different as artists, however I'd like to see them perform together. The closest we got to a duet was the Haiti single.

The interviewer was rude, but Alex handled it well, she was very good about it, I could tell she was a little bit annoyed, especially when she said she was just going to sip on her water.

I think an X Factor performance would create some hype around them again, and they both need that, it should certainly remind people just how incredible their voices are. I hope they have something like that planned.

Yeah she did handle it well. I hope we get her Glo X Factor performances soon.

I'd personally rather those two keep away from each other.

I do. They are literally our Whit and Mimi.

I would agree on releasing any material commercially, but as something special for X Factor, I can't see the harm in it. Though of course there will be critics.

I just don't think Leona and Alexandra really fit together and I know everyone would just go on about how leona shat all over Alexandra

Not necessarily. Alex's voice has massively improved. Let's put it this way, if Alex has a few performances which could hold up to Leona's on the show, she sure as hell can hold her own now. Her power is incredible, as well as her tone, and her upper register is stunning now. They would fit together now, as they can both vocally meet in the middle - range wise.

For the show alone it would be great.

Yes we know that but it's just people will be dragging Alexandra and bigging up Leona and another Alexandra VS Leona spat will ensue all over social media.

Meh. She has to do her job despite the hate. Social media is social media. The GP are more important and she's disappeared as far as they're concerned. She ought to do it.
If Alex looks fire and sings her ass off, belts, high notes and low notes and all, she'll be fine.

I don't know why you lot even care about the UK.. I'd rather her be nothing in the UK... They had the chance and everyone was nasty to her and about her so why bother. She just needs to focus on the US.

Not if the song was an uptempo. JK

I think people would drag them both. Unfortunately there are a few fans of other X Factor contestants who still hold a grudge against her, but I think she knows by now that she can't please everyone.

She didn't get dragged when she performed with JLS and at that time their album was outselling hers. As a one off performance for the 10th anniversary I wouldn't mind it, though nothing more than that. Definitely not any kind of commercial release.

But anyhow, I think it's more likely that if Alex does appear this series, it will be a solo performance.

We have no idea whether she is signed in the US now. She doesn't answer the question. We just don't know. As much as I would love her to get cracking in the US, I don't think it's happening until next year, she is coming back to the UK next week.

I would love her to abandon the UK for a while like Cher Lloyd but we'll see. Hopefully the first single isn't far off and she gets out there in the States.

I've only just realised how difficult it is to crack the American Market recently. Billboard takes a lot into account, so I would rather Alexandra stay there. I'm not expecting her to have this overnight success in the US, it's going to take a few releases before Alex fully cracks America. And Alex is more than capable of this, the girl works really hard.

I just wish she'd communicate with us like she use to.

True. But a one off gig won't do any harm.

I did a lot of research last year. I would recommend reading through other APs of XF acts who have cracked America. Cher Lloyd's one is interesting to read as well.

If she's going for America, Alex needs to get her VEVO sorted out as streaming counts towards the Billboard chart as well as radio impacts and iTunes.

She can do it, but she needs a label that has belief in her. Not Epic or RCA. If she starts in 2014, it would probably take the whole year for her to crack America if she succeeds. It's a very long road, and quite complicated as well. Singles there go up and down the charts like crazy and the radio impact thing is quite complicated as well.

America is very hard to crack! And if Alex does things right she can do it but we all know she very rarely gets it right. I think Alex thinks she should be calling the shots and releasing an album that is just what she truly wants etc however she hasn't achieved enough success to be calling the shots, she isn't secure enough. She needs someone to come and tell her what she needs to do to be big and they need to control her and her music then once she has cracked the US she can do all the honest soul stuff that her heart so desires.
