Jessie J's second still hasn't passed 100k lol. The Saturdays latest effort is at 17.5k.

Union J 21k. Cher 40k.

Album sales are dire. No album in the last year has sold over 700k. On year-to-date charts, only Emeli Sandes comes close. Shocking.

That's why the uk music industry is a mess. US is the way to go for anything close to decent sales wise.

All of those albums have been particular flops though, Robbie William's new album just sold over 100k in its first week.

The US isn't that much better for album sales, but Alex could do fairly well if she gets the right promotion in the States. She also needs a hit single or the album will flop.

I mean the top artists in the US sell fairly well, obviously not as well as in the past but atleast it's something Whereas the top UK artists' sales are appalling. Also, feel confident with Jojo's tweet earlier

Yeah JoJo's tweet is exciting. I want her to be "everywhere" definitely for the US launch. Hopefully they have a heavy promo campaign lined up that includes The Ellen Show
