How patronising. I'm sure Europeans realise that America can be fun - as can many places in the world.
You were set up nicely. She deleted her initial tweet, too. Kinda let's you know how things work. Tag: You've been left holding the bag.

I think we've known from day one that the twins love America But we don't know for sure that they've moved there permanently do we?

I wonder what this tweet is about:
@AlsTheGreat: Some very exciting times ahead if you're a @planetjedward fan!! #LipsAreSealed

He's an Irish DJ who is friendly with J&E and he's just come back from a trip to LA.

I also wonder why everything always has to be a big secret!
I'm not familiar with the real estate terminology in the UK... but in the States there's a big difference between saying 'rent an apartment' (short term - no investment) and 'buy a condo' (long term investment).

Even tho' the tweet was from a complete stranger... he wouldn't have confused the two phrases. I doubt the twins would mix-up the terminology either.

So, yeah, I think they're here to stay.

Of course I'm aware that they have probably bought a property, but whether they intend to live in it all year round is another matter. Anyway I think you're trolling so I'm out of here.

Regardless of whether I've been set up or not I would still have regarded your comment as patronising. Its not even as though you had to phrase it that way either as most of us here actually agree that it's good for them to leave Ireland, cut the apron string and be independent for once.

Look, I'm just really happy J&E have made the jump... I'm celebrating something that has finally happened that I've wanted for years.

I don't like being called a troll. I don't like being called an American Psycho. I also don't like being ganged up on in an attack choreographed beforehand on twitter.

If someone asked me a question on here, I answered it to the best of my ability. Unfortunately, I do not live in LA. I do not know what the twins are doing. I can't answer your questions. I have absolutely zero information.

I understand that the fans are frustrated with the lack of real news... but let me celebrate and shout and woo-hoo.

Don't be mean.

No, I've never been anything but friendly towards you, but you responded to my attempts to make conversation with you with sarcastic put-downs. I felt that was mean.

OK maybe I should have said you were being a wind-up merchant rather than a troll, but can you really not see why we might be a bit miffed by "you know what.... America is fun... that's what I don't think Europeans understand"?

If I had said "Europe is fun, that's what Americans don't understand" you would have been fuming, I know you would.

I'd like to think that you're right and the US media will be more appreciative of the twins than the UK press (who I agree are total bastards towards them) , what about this kind of thing? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R-iTVcbMQn0

I certainly did not intend for my responses to read as sarcastic... because I genuinely did not intend them to be sarcastic. I was poking fun more at myself as not living in the 'scene' in LA. I'm a hillbilly. Apologies if my tone was offensive.

No, I wouldn't have been fuming... even if you had said that Europe was more cultured, educated, stylish, had better food, had a higher life-quality, that's what Americans don't understand... I would have agreed with you. It is/does, and most Americans don't understand that.

I like Europe. If I didn't, I wouldn't have spent 20 years of my life there. I wouldn't have raised my children there. Europe is wonderful... no, it's more than that, it's spectacular.

But America is more fun than Europe... in my opinion.

Jedward debut '90s bowl haircuts during red carpet appearance with unlikely BFF Tara Reid

The duo have also been confirmed to feature in Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!, the B movie franchise Reid credits her comeback to.

The film will see another sharknado attack in Washington DC.

lol... no, I didn't live in Essex... anyway, thanks for reaching out... sometimes people look for things to get angry about (we call it 'stomping snakes')... it often happens when there's not much going on, so people turn on one another to generate activity.

Back to Jed things.... wouldn't it be hysterical if the 'big thing' Al mentioned turned out to be a cameo in Zoolander 2? How symmetrical would that be?

I've no idea why everyone has pushed the eject button on J&E... why?... is it because they're no longer in Europe? Isn't that a bit selfish? What is it about proximity that makes one think an act is somehow famous? There is a larger picture here.

Wouldn't everyone want them to go forward? Surely all must now realize that the deck was stacked against J&E in Europe.

I say, go for it... it might take a while... you might lose some mentions... but just go for it.

of course, y'all can stay on your secret forum or on those hate ask thingies... but, in the end, that's not doing the twins any good.

I'll keep posting here, because the other forums are, well, I simply don't know how to say this diplomatically... they're tacky.

OK, well I'll try to carry on posting items of interest on here for the sake of people who don't do twitter etc, but it seems like we're flogging a dead horse TBH.

For anyone who missed it, the twins said this on instagram recently in reply to the question "When will the new album be out?" :

"It's all about overcoming barriers and waiting for the right moment that the world will be on the same page as us and seeing the change.

Before the album comes out we like releasing songs and showing people the development and image of us now because you could drop a diamond down the ocean and if no one knows it's there it will be lost forever.

We want to get a cool US record deal and we are still 100% up and coming"

They also said in another reply that they would have had main roles in Sharknado 3 but they didn't have the right visas so could only have cameo roles.

It sounds like they would need the O-1 Visa, which is the U.S. work visa for individuals including performers who have an offer of work and that can demonstrate an:

“extraordinary ability in the sciences, arts, education, business, or athletics which has been demonstrated by sustained national or international acclaim and who are coming temporarily to the U.S. to continue work in the area of extraordinary ability.”

I have to admit that I've unfollowed the twins on twitter, because I'm simply not interested in selfies or inspirational insights from 20-somethings. I never jumped on the instagram/tumblr/facebook platforms... so thanks for posting the newest posts from the twins.

They had such a huge following on twitter; therefore, I don't understand why they've checked out of that platform. I do think it's sweet that they post something timed to their European fans' time zone, tho'. There's no way they/he would be up every night at 3-4 am... so am assuming they've timed the posting beforehand. That's quite a nice gesture.

We can listen to John and Edward talking about bullying here, at the launch of Anti-Bullying Pro’s campaign yesterday in Dublin:

I do hope the twins get legit legal advice re US visas... the discussion is completely different if one owns property in the States.

This article gives an explanation of the US visa process for performers. It looks like all their problems in that area will be over if they can get that cool US record deal: http://www.musicalamerica.com/mablogs/?p=13631

They seem to have gone back to their old image, at least visually now that they're back in Ireland. I wonder why? Maybe it was just for the anti-bullying thing which was aimed mainly at children?

Also is posting here doing the twins any good? Doesn't seem to stop you...
