No I hadn't.
I wanted to share the Jedward news like I used to for Jedward's benefit.
I don't actually have the energy for your level of twisted mind games.
But you really have trolled this tread to extinction.

Enjoy your conquest.

The twins' airport tour has been very good. I went to the London one Friday and was very pleased to find that no matter what is said on Twitter, everyone got on really well. Like - everyone. Edward said an interesting thing, that we shouldn't believe everything we read about them Twitter/the Internet, even if the person saying it was there, because it's not all true. Think we can say the same about this forum too, there's a lot said on here that is very far from the truth.

Anyway, I'm off to see them again in Dublin today. I didn't make a special trip over, I was already coming to see The Who in Belfast, and flew into Dublin, met up with a friend. My flight is about the same time as the Twins' tonight too - happy circumstance

Oh I'd like to say too, Susanna does a bloody good job. And in my line of work I meet a lot of bands, and "Momagers" are very common, because they actually have the best interests of the band at heart.

The Jedhugs Tour was a really sweet idea. I've loved seeing the photos with new and unfamilar faces and it's nice to see that they still attract a reasonable crowd in some places.

Perhaps the crowd isn't as large as previously but they haven't been forgotten entirely and it's something to build on. I hope they do.

getting back to this because J&E's vid for oh hell no is reported to be released tomorrow...

are we absolutely certain their song is the Theme Song for the movie? Has this been confirmed anywhere? When I search 'jedward sharknado theme song' ... I only find references to it being the theme song in fans' blogs.

Where did this info come from?

I found this... but the twins are not mentioned at all.

I'd like to know if the author of this blog confirmed that oh hell no was the 'Official Theme Song for Sharknado 3" before announcing this:

Oh, that's disappointing. So it might not even be played during the movie?

Just seen the video, it's not shark related! Looks like a totally new direction for them.

doesn't look like it... I'm assuming twins are simply piggy-backing off the movie (which is fine, & even legal in the States under the Fair Use thingy).

what bothers me is JWN exaggerating J&E's tweet... the twins never said that it would be the theme song for the movie.

JWN has exaggerated often before ( ok, like all the time)... but this one kinda takes the cake.

*anything to generate sales*, I guess... but this was an outright lie.

Having asked around, people who were at Blackpool said Edward implied it was the film's theme song there. Here's a clip of him talking about it:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IqXF...ature=youtu.be

It's quite hard to hear but it sounds like Edward says "It's going to be the soundtrack for the movie in 70 countries"

Here it is!

https://www.yahoo.com/music/video-pr...856598196.html

It's "a song inspired by SyFy’s forthcoming Sharknado 3" according to Lindsey Parker.

Sorry to keep on posting, but this story keeps on giving! The Daily Star are going along with the Sharknado soundtrack line:

http://www.dailystar.co.uk/showbiz/4...or-sharknado-3

'Oh Hell No is taken from the soundtrack for film Sharknado 3 in which the 23-year-olds make their big screen debut alongside friend Tara Reid.

"The boss of Syfy wanted us to write a song especially for the movie. Syfy is part of NBC Universal so our music could be in more TV shows.

"It's exciting because we never thought our song would be featured in Sharknado and that's going out in nearly 70 countries," they added.'

well... I guess we will just have to wait and see, then.

re the vid/song itself... major points for elocution (which I've always harped about)... but I could understand every word... yay!

re editing... imo, their best effort to date... that wasn't easy to get everything in sync. Lots of cuts and slices. Difficult. Kudos!

I was actually able to watch this thru to the end... in other words, I didn't get bored as I have w/ their other vids. So big, big points for that.

and all this coming from someone who thinks rap is a total sell-out now... I can't stand rap.

But this was actually quite good!

hey, I really do hope J&E's song is the Theme Song. If it is, then great! fantastic! what a wonderful opportunity!

The problem I have right now is that there are a handful of fans who (albeit w/ excellent intentions) think that if they can somehow generate enough interest (even by lying) then the gates will somehow magically open for the twins.

that's not how it works... these fans are simply overestimating the power of social media. What they don't understand is the powers-that-be have cottoned-on to the whole social media marketing thingy quite a while ago and have marketed their acts accordingly.

what bothers me the most is that these fans don't understand that what they are doing, have done, is actually hurting the twins.

think about it... when/if this turns out that the twins' song is not on the soundtrack, the twins will be blamed, not the fans who spammed exaggerations to the media outlets. Already, JWN is (by proxy here) putting out that they were only repeating what E said at Blackpoole. Linking a vid which no one viewing could understand what he actually said.

I have no idea whether E, at Blackpoole, said that Oh Hell No was the theme song to Sharknado3 or not... I wasn't there. But this actually doesn't matter in the larger context.

In other words... NO ONE IS GOING TO CARE WHERE THE FALSE INFO CAME FROM. The blame will simply fall on the twins... whether they said anything, or not.

What matters is that a few fans are generating false press... and that's a no-no. They may think it's helping, but it certainly isn't. It's hurting.

I'm not JWN's proxy! I'm not involved with them (although I don't necessarily think everything they do is wrong).

What about the Daily Star quote - that's pretty unequivocal from the twins isn't it?

Also, @SyfyUK tweeted "Are you ready for this? Oh Hell No! Check out @planetjedward's new single for #Sharknado3 http://t.co/XRl98WJJhb"

TBH I doubt if anyone outside the fandom is going to notice all this anyway :/

Of course you're not involved w/ JWN... but you did say that you had 'asked around' re Blackpoole... so, as you're twitter friends w/ them, I just assumed they were the ones you asked. Apologies if this was not the case.

re Daily Star... seriously?

re SyfyUk... ditto... not sure if they didn't just post something in response to all the false press generated by fans.

nevertheless... I do actually hope the rumor turns out to be true... for everyone's sake.

Hey all! Just me checking in to say hi. I've been off busy hard at work in the world of Eurovision, where there's still a lot of love for Jedward. ESC Insight (not the blog that I write for, but a good one nonetheless) has this really good article on the airport tour, looking at how the Jeds are an example of a Eurovision act who has kept their core fanbase over the years.
http://www.escinsight.com/2015/06/30...ir-jepic-fans/

Also, I want to say that I know that some of you are stressing that J&E's pop career isn't at Taylor Swift levels of fame, but that's nothing to worry about. After six years, they're still working in showbiz - that in itself is a remarkable achievement. In the Eurovision community, at least, they've come to be regarded as legends and there's a lot of respect for them. Their appearance at Life Ball wasn't just a fluke.

That's the thing with the world of showbiz today. An artist doesn't need to be broadly famous to be successful. They're making their own music, learning from their mistakes, having fun, and being themselves. Hashtag blessed.

So while Jed life at the moment doesn't match the hot hot heat of 2010-2013, it's still a good place to be.

Another thing - don't worry about crazy fans. All established stars have them. It's just a beautiful part of pop life. If Jedward didn't have crazy fans, then I'd start to be worried.

And in totally unexpected but delightful news, the Jeds recently followed me on Twitter!

Really loved the Jedhug tour. Did you see that there were about 90 people in Finland and a similar number in Sweden? There were over 40 in the Stansted photo but more arrived after that so it was closer to 60. Hungary was really impressive, I'm really happy about that one!

No it was a couple of other people who were at Blackpool, one of whom had chatted to Edward in person.

I take your point about the Daily Star, but I reckon it's at least loosely based on things the twins said, rather than just totally concocted out of thin air.

I do agree that things don't seem to add up, we'll find out soon enough anyway!

Wow, congratulations Robyn! Although they probably don't realise the person they're following is a (former?) member of the fandom, you know what trouble they get into :/

I wonder if the Jedhug tour was partly because they've come to realise that Europe is the area where they still have broad respect and recognition because of their "Eurovision legends" status? There are rumours of a European tour in the autumn, I really hope it happens.

The Daily Star piece was written by Tina Campbell, formerly of The Metro, now with The Daily Star, and the quotes were directly from a phone interview with John and Edward.

The twins are asking for venues in Germany, Sweden, Finland and Estonia, among other places. Specifically in Cologne and Berlin in the case of Germany. They've told fans they're going to play a particular venue in Helsinki (can't remember the name off the top of my head) but as the venue only holds 200, it's easy to believe that date will be sold out. They might be a bit conservative with their expectations for that one...Tallinn, with its close proximity to Helsinki, is almost a certainty, and it's to be expected that there will also be dates in Ireland and the UK.

Hoping for a date in Hungary, seems the fans there are very keen, there were a lot of local fans there in addition to the German/Austrian/UK/Irish ones.

Hi, nice to see you I loved your blog article. Congrats on the Jepic follow!

I may not post here anymore, but I'm still very much a fan and had the pleasure to meet John and Edward recently, at Stansted, as part of their 'Jedhug' tour. They're always such sweet and thoughtful lads and it's always a delight to be in their company.
I like the new song and video very much, and I know they're pretty excited about it.
I'm looking forward to the tour announcements and I'm hoping I'll be able to get to a few dates.

I agree very much about your comments with regards to the twins career and I'm enjoying life on Planet Jedward as much as ever.
