Tina is Zsa Zsa's mother, it was implied Zsa Zsa was an only child but not specifically stated so they could easily get around that and introduce more kids. Her husband appeared briefly in the 2010 E20 spin off he was called Andy and he was Zsa Zsa's stepdad.

I think EE has suffered enough without another Newman coming in.

There is nothing love and warmth about that particular Newman!

Just because you've seen a photo on Twitter of a bomber jacket with 'Tina' written on the back doesn't mean Shirley is alive, does it?

Has it not occurred to you that Tina might arrive in Walford hoping to beg a spare room form her sister, discover she's moved to Greece and stay around anyway in the ubiquitous B & B ? There is no mention of Shirley's survival at all. It might just be that DTC has decided on a policy of 'out with the old, in with the new' and replaced Shirley with a less damaged character.

I'm sure DTC would not introduce her sister if she was not alive, as what would be the point of her character? If she's anything like Shirley, then nobody will want to be friends with her.

Camille Coduri is a bit....dare i say it...good looking to be convincing as Shirley's sister. Alison Newman is a great shout though her and Linda Henry have a great onscreen chemistry already demonstrated in Bad Girls.

Clare King would be another however if it is a new character I guess it may not be a big name as we would have had some teaser beforehand.

Could it be that Tina is looking for Shirley? Why was Shirley going to Greece of all places? Maybe she was due to meet up with her sister there but never arrived? I'm just guessing... probably completely wrong.
