Stacey Slater returns on Christmas Day with Lily and announces that she's 8 months pregnant.
In February 2014, a shaken Zoe Slater arrives at the Vic where she confides in Kat that she has conned by fiance Calvin Appleton. She explains how whilst she got prepared to marry him, he emptied her house and drove off with her possessions.
During later episodes, Kat unearths a shocking secret regarding Zoe - she is suffering from post traumatic stress disorder following a terrifying mugging.
In May 2014, Little Mo pitches up on the square and bumps into Billy. Billy and Little Mo have a catch up in the cafe. Little Mo discloses details about her return to Walford. Freddie was whipped into foster care due to allegations of neglect. Little Mo admits to neglecting her son in favour of ex boyfriend Alan. Alan turned out to be a lying cheat who broke Little Mo's heart and she fell into a depressive episode in which she let her responsibilities slip.
During an hour long episode in September, Belinda Slater makes a dramatic return as she desperately tries to escape the clutches of her obsessive stalker who recently took her hostage. He follows her to Walford and aims to persuade her into being with him. With some help from Alfie, Joey and Jack, she manages to get rid of him... Belinda locates her sisters Kat and Little Mo, where she tells them that Charlie's sister Violet has contracted HIV. Violet, her daughter Imogen, Imogen's partner Arron and their teenage children Rhiannon, Jessica, Mason, Luke and Freddie drive into Walford in a white van in similar fashion to their relatives arrival back in 2000.
As the family move into the original Slater household, Violet collapses. The paramedics arrive, but the family already know Violet's fate is sealed - she's dead...
Christmas Eve 2014 dawns and Sean Slater is back with model girlfriend Emily-Rose. Sean reveals that he is in serious debt with Emily-Rose's gangster Dad and needs cash and quick.
Emily-Rose's father Jason and his gang trace Sean and kick the Slater's door in before violently beating Sean and trashing the house. Kat steps in to offer them a solution - she will sleep with them all in exchange for 5 months to raise the money. They accept but order Stacey and Zoe to join in with the action. With Sean unconscious, Little Mo terrified and Belinda missing, will they agree to Jason's demands?
