Brian Belo was all right being properly African black because he was absolutely mainstream Essex and a cheerful, friendly, open person. Nadia could overcome the double disadvantage of being transgender and foreign for the same kind of reasons - I wasn't her biggest fan, but she was a highly sociable person and invariably part of a group. Sree, culturally Indian AND socially awkward had no chance. Nor did BB7 Sam - who knows whether it is appropriate to describe her as transgender since she has reverted to being male since, but at the time she presented as a transgender girl AND did not have the social skills, in a difficult, divided house, to make people like her.
