I'm having an issue uploading to youtube.

I have a DVD of film work I've been involved in, around 4 minutes long.

Everytime I upload it from the DVD it takes ages to upload and then when its finally done its only uploaded about 3 seconds of footage.

Am I being really thick? What exactly am I doing wrong?

If it isn't already. It probably needs to be in avi format.

How would I know if it is? Other people have had the DVD and uploaded to some other sites... i hate technology!
