Misteeq to split up
Will anyone miss them? They were inconsequential as a trio, and will be similarly invisible as solo artists.

This is turning out to be my favourite year for music, first busted split now this. All I need now is Jojo getting dropped by her record label, Elvis to stay dead, Mcfly to spilt, Lindsey Lohan and Hillary Duff stop singing...and a partridge in a pear tree.

You're forgetting the wish that Jentina never, ever comes back. |

I thought Misteeq went ages ago as their label Telstar went bust. They were owed money by Telstar too.

These groups have no choice about the matter - if the record label gets bored of them its bye-bye.
One less crappy r&b group to have to listen to anyway |

Not that bothered, they were part of a music scene that went back underground a few years ago and they forgot about UK Garage (which made them who they were) and traded it in for a more "commercial" US Urban sound  and for that they will forever be known as sell-outs.
As far as singles go - Why and All I want (Lickin' On Both Sides) are quite good. Su-Elise can't sing - NO, not a f**king single note, so expect her solo career to last the longest. |

Correct as far as I know. The record company is also said to have the recordings for the next album and the group aren't allowed them as they are company assets which now go to the creditors. The winding up of companies that go bust can take ages and so we are never likely to see the recordings even if anyone gets to legitimately own them an now that the band are splitting it's pretty much certain. Whether or not the band are any good is pretty much a question of taste but what this episode goes to show is how much bands are owned and controlled by their record companies.
