A separate games forum?
Just a thought - should we have a separate forum for all the games on here?

I am a gamer, and I want one. The games get lost in the threads, and it would be so much better with an actual section!!!

Gamer here to and I say no to this for a few reasons. One is pretty much when X Factor isn't on the forum is actually kept alive by these games and the fact when the games are on this part of the forum more people can vote and see it if they're new to the forum.
I think a survey or something was carried out like a year ago about this and the majority said it shouldn't happen if I remember correctly. |

There have been debates for this for years, I would be for it, but I doubt

Given how more active the forum is now, it really would be sensible for a separate forum for games so that they aren't lost in show discussion.

I want to start a game but don't want to annoy people as so many are on right now so yes I think it's a good idea

We would need to contact the site team in some way so that we can have a XF Games section here as well. Strictly has one after all.

While I agree with some of the points opponents of this idea make, I too would like a separate games forum. If someone wants to take a look at the games the best way to find them is a subforum with the title X Factor games in my opinion. Doing this also appeases those who dislike seeing the games threads in between the discussion threads. SCD does it this way, and both the main discussion forum and the games subforum are alive and well even when the show isn't on, I don't see any reason at the moment for the X Factor forum not to simply follow suit and never have really.
