It's a splendid warm-ish afternoon as Agatha sits here on the south balcony of Crispies Gables, composing this midweek Corrie episode discussion thread. As Linda Lusardi celebrates her birthday at Burger King with two Whoppers a whiff of sorrow coalesces around the Cobbles......

Spoiler
Hayley and Roy toss and turn in the night, wracked with fear and trepidation poor Hales has had a nightmare where she was a bloke again....... telling Roy all this, she makes it clear she regrets nothing except falling out with her son Christian, and Roy is startled when Hayley announces that she wants to see him again ..........

Busty Eva is delighted with Jason (and who wouldn't be?) after the kindnesses he has showed her mother, she sees him in a Whole New Way speaking of In The Back Stella, she's been inspired by the gentle yet determined way Detective Dev has just got on with things, and resolves to do the same but is she whistling past the graveyard?.......

Over the road apiece, Real Dad Tim is finding the new and "improved" non-bunny-boiling Sally Webster rather a treat  she's being all free and simple about it, but Jason has a warning for him that she's not what she seems....... Tim ignores him, but is painfully reminded of the advice when, suggesting a weekend away to Sally, she goes berserk and wants to go to Paris the sandal is on the other foot now......

Oh, and before I forget, Fizzy Whizzy is moving in with Tyrone Power at Number Nine, which is going to leave Chesney Tatlock with "money issues" ........

Also....

Spoiler
No evidence of Faye in tonight's episode - she isn't mentioned in Digital Spy spoilers, the Radio Times or TV Quick, so we can go down to Amber Alert

Woo hoo, Aggie's an early bird today. (I suppose you'll be busy with your 'spatchcock surprise' later.

Hello everybody! I'm in a good mood today as I appear to have lost 3lbs in a week by finishing my main meal with a load of grapes instead of a pecan plait. But life's too short so I'm off to stock up on pecan plaits tomorrow.

PS Brilliant poll result last week! Go Corrie!

Well, actually I got some great news today - I'm finally employed again! so as Mr. Ags is planning some kind of celebration I thought I'd better do this early in case I get whisked off somewhere.

Oh and congratulations on the 3lbs that Jaeger cardigan top is just begging to be worn out to the farmers' market

Thanks for the thread Aggie

Congrats on the weight loss Jaded.

You could also try the 8 hr diet. I've lost almost a stone on that without changing what I eat in any major way.

First eye test today in 6 and a half years. The optician said my eyes were in very good condition for my age(! ) and that I don't need glasses!

The recently retired Inspector Dev could end up taking St Stella round the back quite soon.
